The college is not worth it.
Placements: Mostly TCS and a few other companies do mass recruitment and very few students get their dream jobs. I don't know much but a few of our students got placed in Voltas at 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Seamen and L&T. Around 98% of students got internships. One of our old students is our HOD at the moment.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are fine. There is no medical facility inside the college. They have a hospital around 2-3 km away from the college. The canteen food is worthless. The college has few sports and games like football and cricket without proper equipment. The food is very bad.
Faculty: Few teachers are well-educated and have a lot of knowledge. They focus on making bookworms, not industry-ready. They take semester exams like your writing paper for UPSC. Not even a nudge is tolerated. The clerks are disrespected.
Other: Electronics and telecommunication. I can make my equipment and have good teachers who have served in the industry. Event management is bad to be honest. No extracurricular activities are conducted in our college.

The college is good, you can join it.
Placements: The college has good placement opportunities. Many companies visit for placements, like Mahindra, Wipro, etc. The faculty also helps students to get the placement, but students can also apply to companies outside the campus. College placements are good enough, placement-wise is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the College is very good. There are many labs for Physics, Chemistry, Mechanics, and Computers. There are also sports facilities for cricket and football, you can join teams. At the end of the year, the college organizes a fest and sports events, car and bike shows, and a DJ night.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teacher is good, not very good, and not very bad. It is medium because some of the teachers are not good, but some are very much qualified. The semester exams are hard to score the marks. Because the first-year and fourth-year papers are set by the government, while second-year and third-year papers are set by the college.

A college with decent education and placements, but the infrastructure needs improvement.
Placements: Our college achieved a placement rate of 50-70%, influenced by individual performance, industry demand, and our college reputation. The highest salary package offered by an MNC in UAE in recent years is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.50 LPA or 3 LPA in companies like Kalpataru, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is moderately equipped to meet academic and practical needs. The department features standard classrooms with basic amenities such as projectors and comfortable seating. Some labs are functional and equipped with essential machines and instruments for subjects like dynamics of M/C, theory of M/C, and workshops. Some labs like heat engines have a model but not functional.
Faculty: Faculty members of the mechanical engineering department are qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them hold advanced degrees and significant experience in their respective fields. The course curriculum is moderately relevant to current industry demands. Semester exams are moderately challenging. The pass percentage of students in the ESE course is low. Industry relevance needs improvement.

It's a good college overall.
Placements: I am still in SE in college and studying, but I think at least 20 out of 60 will be placed. It is good; I think we'll be capable of getting a good offer. The top internship offered, I don't know, but the top packages offered were six to eight LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good. Facilities are provided to students. We can also use the libraries for free by making a card and can use it for as much time as wanted.
Faculty: Some teachers are really exceptional, but not everyone. Each needs to improve in its skill.
Other: The fest is a great thing and is organized at a huge level.

B.E. in Information Technology - Batch of 2023

I am not satisfied because of placement.
Placements: Placements are average; many service-based companies visit the campus. In 2023, almost 25+ companies visited the IT CS branch, but hardly 20 companies hired 1-3 candidates. Big companies like Media, Net, and NVent also hire, but on a pool campus. Also, more than half of the 2023 batch is still unplaced. There are no internship opportunities provided to final and pre-final year students. This is because of the attendance policy.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good due to a lack of maintenance. Many PCs in the lab are not working, which motivates students to code even in their free time as well as during practicals. You won't believe that installing and setting up VsCode and Android Studio takes 2-3 practicals. But recently, I visited the college in 2024 to collect lower semester marksheets, and I found that the labs were completely changed. They installed new PCs, and the old ones were removed.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and understanding; they help students in every aspect of exams and academics. Coming to the knowledge of the faculty: indeed, they have huge knowledge, but MU's frequently changing syllabus makes the teachers' job even harder. MU includes a new syllabus (mixed) that doesn't make sense. One teacher has to forcefully teach 4-5 different subject domains. We can't blame the teachers. One teacher I met who is really kind and humble is Dr. Jilani Sayyad. If you get admission, then don't forget to meet him once.
Other: There are some festivals conducted in between the semesters, but there is no coding culture at all here.

Satisfied with the placement opportunities, faculty, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 40 to 50 percent students get placed every year with the average package of 3.5 LPA. In our batch, the highest package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest one is around 3 LPA as of 7th sem. Some students also go for the internship based on their own skills and faculty also helps you to get the internship.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is maintained well enough. Classrooms are well-equipped with all the necessary tools. You get Wi-Fi facilities in each classroom. Labs are also well furnished and well-equipped. Talking about the hostel, we have very limited seats available in hostel. Traveling facility from hostel to college is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They support you in every possible way to help you gain the knowledge as much as possible. Teachers are very supportive weather it is about placement, Internship or academics. Most of the teachers are very well qualified and have good knowledge about their respective domains.
