Proper career guidance with good campus experience.

Placements: For our batch, 3 to 4 companies participated in the campus, and total placement was approximately 30%, but for graduation courses, the percentage of companies participating and placement record was very high with an average package of 4 to 5 lakhs. Many reputed companies take part in the pool campus in the only limited colleges.

Infrastructure: The college premises basically include different buildings for different departments. Girls' and boys' hostel facility is also there with excellent maintenance. The labs and classrooms are well-furnished, well-equipped with the on-campus Wi-Fi facility. The college canteen is the place where we used to chill, and their quality of food is good.

Faculty: Most of their faculty members are PhD holders. One can quickly get help even after the regular classes; they also provide extra sessions if needs. In my department there were 50 students and for us there were 11-12 faculty members. In my course, they give the additional information where I can get my career started.

Nice college for making up a good career.

Placements: Placement is average as many service based companies come to campus like Wipro, CTS, Infosys, etc. The package is around 3-7 LPA. The companies are mostly service based companies and product based are not that frequent. Students got a role of System Engineer related roles such as analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is up to mark as compared to the academics but certainly, it lacks area for the students to enjoy freely as it is a small campus with very limited space. Hostels are very limited I guess as I don't have any idea regarding it but most of the students opt to stay out.

Faculty: Faculty members are good as they try to teach students and guide them properly. If a student wants help he will be provided with the same as the faculty members are helpful too.

Other: College is simple as it is not very good with the infrastructure as other private colleges but fulfills all the basic requirements needed by the students. It has various scholarship programs for the students and there are many events/workshops/seminar by guest lectures. The college has good ranking in MP and it is a government autonomous college. Fees of the college is also very less i.e. 30-35 k per semester. The college has ERP portal for the students to manage their account to pay fees and other actions.

Other: I got a chance to pursue my M.tech (Biotech) from MITS, Gwalior and I was overall satisfied from the level of knowledge with which I am signing off from the college. As project work is an essential part to complete the degree, here are very limited facilities available in the Department of biotechnology for carrying out the research work, I believe one could carry out his/her project if he can afford to carry out the project work from outside or he has the capability to do on its own without expecting any help from the dept. But as a positive point we can learn very much in the department about how to sustain in an environment with limited facilities. I suggest to keep MITS an option for post-graduate if you are not finding anything better, even if you think you can find something better in private sector then go for that college and not for MITS.
