Affordable government state law college of Odisha.
Placements: This is a newly made government state law university so we can expect good placement and campus. One can get placed mostly for legal offices in different government as well as private institutions. Also after LL.B. you can pursue LL.M. or Ph.D. courses or go for litigation and judicial service exam.
Infrastructure: After becoming a university the campus is expanded with good rooms lifts and other facilities. Newly constructed hostels are available for boys and girls separately. It is near to the market area so travel and other facilities are easily available. The college also provides canteen for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and compulsory 75% attendance is needed. Exam is done in strict way. An academic calendar is provided. Internal exams and moot courts are done in proper manner as it also has moot court rooms. It not only focuses on theory but it also makes us clear and confident how to face the courtroom.

As per the conditions of government colleges in our state, our university is in good state.
Placements: Though there are good job opportunities in my course but our university doesn't provide any. There are no facilities for placements by the college, and one has to find his or her own way. During the internship program, students can apply to many well-known law firms across India and if they get selected, they can join their internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our campus is GD but we don't have hostel facilities yet. But a new campus is being built for better facilities. Currently, there is no canteen and mess but as I wrote soon there it would be within few months on the new campus. Our campus is small so there is not much scope for sports and games. But colleges try to send students and get them to indulge in various games. It is a professional course so they focus on academics more.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Many of them teach well and make us understand the basics. However, being a government university, not all the teachers are permanent which creates trouble sometimes. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage last year was nearly 70%.

Decent college but dissatisfied with the examination and campus.
Placements: About placement, if I say so! It is not present at all but for the sake of the judiciary, it is good! Judicial services have a good opportunity at this university. And this is a university, not a college! No corporate placements are made but it does have a good reputation in the state and is the oldest law university in the state. Alumni like Deepak Mishra, the former CJI, have passed out of this college.
Infrastructure: No hostel is present; classrooms are well-maintained and air-conditioned. The new campus is in process. No playground is there. A good, well-maintained library is there. Parking issue: no bus service. No canteen or mess is present on campus.
Faculty: Faculty are good. There is no permanent faculty present, but all the faculty are helpful and have a rich background. The course curriculum is good but the examinations are worse at this university. The pass percentage is 50 percent, which makes it very hard for students to crack them.

Review of Madhusudan Law College.
Placements: Our university provides an LL.M., an LL.B. in Integrated B.A., and an LL.B. Hons. There are 120 students each semester. Every year, many students get good opportunities to crack good placements. Some students crack CBI entrance exam, and some clear OJS exam.
Infrastructure: It is a very good college in India. I'm very lucky to study at this college. The campus is huge. It has a good environment. Hostel facilities are very good, so students come to study here.
Faculty: We have very good faculty members. Exams are conducted by the university. Every lecturer has good knowledge to teach us. Madhusudan Law College is the oldest college. Two years ago, the college was converted into a university. The vice chancellor, Dr. Kamal Jeet Singh, is very kind.
Other: The college is situated near the East Coast Railway Station.

I am highly satisfied with the faculty members, but the infrastructure needs to improve.
Placements: Off-campus placements are provided here. Students have to attend interviews on their own choice. However, this college has set a record that maximum students crack judiciary exams. But students need to find what they want to do. If they want to opt for the corporate field, they have to put their own efforts to it. Our college doesn't take care of it.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have a mess nor canteen. There are games, but they are conducted only by the students association, and that to competitions are held only among students of our college. But national competitions are not conducted effectively.
Faculty: Faculty members here are excellent. They are very helpful, and their way of teaching is quite good. They provide their support in any way starting from semesters to judiciary exams if you ask them. They will be available to you in any matter. They are very helpful.

I am satisfied with the courses and teaching.
Placements: College is good, and the campus is neat and clean. Students are getting 100% placement, and the license is given to every student who Clears the exam. Students were offered with a maximum salary of 60 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered was 3 LPA. Students are also clearing judicial exams.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and smart classes are available. Wi-Fi is available, and the Library is too good for readers. The college does not provide hostel facility, but it is under construction. However, you can get a hostel nearby. Sports and Law fests are conducted every year, and it has good collaboration with other law colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and their teaching style is always appreciated. Teachers are always ready to help, and they clear the doubt raised by the students on the very same day. The course curriculum is really helpful for the exams as well as they prepare the students for the prestigious Judicial services.
Other: I didn't choose law. It is called judicial engineering. And for me its the best course because I want to help the people as a public prosecutor. If I'm lucky, then I would serve justice to the people by qualifying the prestigious judicial exams. It would be better if the college provides a hostel.

Review of Madhusudan Law College.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placements opportunities. Mainly this institution preferred for OJS (Odisha judicial service), assistant public prosecutor and other jobs. As far as Internships are concerned, internships in our college are not provided much value.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very poor. It needs immediate renovation. Classrooms are not built properly to have a study like atmosphere. There are several issues. The library is dialapted situation. There is no proper reading room. It is very pathetic. The government should pay heed to the needs of the college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very bad. Classes are not conducted properly. Even electives have been reached as a compulsory subject because of a lack of faculty. Faculty members, including coordinator and principal, are not concerned about students. The college needs immediate improvement.

It is a government-owned law college.
Placements: The college doesn't conduct any campus placements. So, there is no scope for direct selection. As it is a reputed college, it provides wide knowledge about the legal practice followed in Odisha. The maximum students who qualified Odisha judicial device belong to our college.
Infrastructure: It is one of the oldest law colleges in India. It was built in the British style, red in colour, and totally painted in the colour of the High Court of Odisha. The campus has separate buildings for B.A. LL.B. Hons, LL.B., and LL.M. It's has a separate conference hall. Classrooms are equipped with projectors.
Faculty: The college provides well-experienced faculty members. They are the permanent teaching staff. Many of the lecturers have completed their PhD in their respective teaching subject. The college is run under Utkal University, and it is a college owned and administered by the government of Odisha.
Other: The college has Biwa Ranjan Memorial Moot Court. The college organises a national level law fest named Armonia.
