My experience in this college.

Placements: The college name is well known so it is also proud to be a MMC student. There will be special care in the government hospital for students. Students have to learn on their own for the jobs. Sometimes Pharmafabrikon visits our college to hire students for placements.

Infrastructure: It consists of four major labs pharmaceutics, chemistry, pharmacognosy, and pharmacology. Other labs are situated in the respective departments. A hostel is also provided. Volleyball and basketball courts are also available. Students can even play badminton in the indoor stadium.

Faculty: Exams are conducted every six months. Classes are mainly based on practical knowledge so they make students well when they are out of the course. The teaching methods are good but it depends on students to understand the subjects. Teachers are also very skillful and knowledgeable. They are eager to help students.

Other: I chose it because it is better than the other allied health science courses. Independence is the main key for this field.

Review of Madurai Medical College, College of Pharmacy.

Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students were placed. They were placed in medicine production companies. The salary package offered was 1.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Almost 80% of students got internships. The top role offered was a pharmacist.

Infrastructure: There was no hostel for students who were studying for a diploma in pharmacy. Students had to stay outside the campus. There was no Wi-Fi but the labs were well-equipped. Classrooms were neat. Students from the pharma department were not allowed in the library.

Faculty: Our teachers were more helpful in our studies. They were helpful with our career guidelines. The course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready. There were two semester exams for two years. The pass percentage was more than 40%.

Placements: More than 80% of students got placed in this course. Few students also opt for higher studies. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Students also got jobs in government hospitals by giving exams based on their merit. Pharmacist is the main role offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. D. Pharma students are not allowed in the library. There are no Wi-Fi facilities, and our classrooms are good. The laboratory is also better. There is no hostel at this college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching quality is good. Our course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the industry. There are two semester exams. The pass percentage is 40%.
