SRIHER Chennai Admissions 2025: Fees, Dates, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

SRIHER BTech offers popular specialisations like CSE Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, CSE Cyber Security and Internet of Things, CSE Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Medical Engineering.

While official SRIHER BPharm cut-off is not publicly released, admission is strictly based on performance in the All-India Entrance Examination taken by the university. Candidates with higher marks are more likely to secure seats in the early rounds of counselling. 

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research offers a BSc (Hons) course for a duration of four years, including internships ranging from six months to one year in nine specialisations. The institute also offers BSc course for a duration of three years in eight specialisations. Out of all the BSc specialisations, Trauma Care and Management is offered for a duration of four years. Sri Ramachandra University offers MBBS BDS B.Sc. (Medical), B.Sc. (Nursing), BPT BOT, BBA B.Pharma and BASLP courses at the UG level. At the PG level, the university offers Pharma. D. MD MS MPT M.Sc. (Nursing), M.Sc. (Medical) and MBA courses in various disciplines. Along with UG and PG courses, students can also apply to DM. M.Ch. And Ph.D. courses at the doctorate level. The application form can be obtained from the university office or can be downloaded from the official website of the university. MBBS and BDS admission is subject to a valid score in NEET UG followed by counselling. Admission to B.Tech, B.Sc. And M.Sc. Courses are offered on the basis of merit and interview conducted by the university. In some selected UG level programs, the university shortlists candidates for the interview round on the basis of their marks in the qualifying degree. NEET PG qualified candidates are eligible to apply for admission to MD and MS courses. Final admission is offered through counselling conducted by DGHS, New Delhi. To secure admission to MS NEET MS qualified candidates are eligible to apply while DM & M.Ch. Courses require a valid score in NEET SS. Candidates have to qualify in the university-based entrance test for selected PG courses along with M.Phil. Sri Ramachandra University also conducts an interview round the shortlisted candidates to grant admission in some specific PG courses. Admission to Ph.D. (Part-Time) and Full-Time courses are offered on the basis of qualifying exams followed by an interview.

For 2022, cut off was 234917 for General category candidates in All India quota for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. NEET cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

SRIHER NEET SS cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to DM and MCh courses. For the DM course, the cutoff ranks ranged between 126 and 4017. For admission to MCh course, the cutoff range across various specialisations varied between 179 and 1472. 

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research other than General category are - 935786 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.

Selection criteria: NEET UG + MCI Counselling

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed HSC examination /equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC) taking together Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and a pass in English. Aspirants have also secured not less than 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC) in the entrance exam to apply for MBBS course.

SRIHER NEET Cutoff 2024 was released for admission to MBBS and BDS. To get into MBBS, the last-round closing rank among the General AI category was 370144. To get admission to BDS, the last-round closing rank was closed at 166033, among the General AI category candidates. Yes, it is possible to get admission to Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research with a rank of 500 in NEET SS. The closing ranks to get admission to the institute among the General AI category candidates varied between 126 and 4017. A few specialisations available at this rank are M.Ch. in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, DM in Endocrinology and DM in Neuro Radiology. 

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET Round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 3378 and the closing rank was 3378 for the general category candidates under the All India quota. Yes, Diploma holders in Pharmacy are eligible for lateral entry into the second year of the BPharm programme at SRIHER Chennai. The selection criteria for lateral entry students is the same as first year admissions. Lateral Entry students at SRIHER need to only pay the fees for the duration of their lateral entry course. 

BPharm fees at SRIHER is paid annually. Students are required to pay INR 1.25 Lacs in the beginning of each academic year, bringing the total fee to approximately INR 5 Lacs over four years. Additional costs may be applied. 

To be eligible for SRIHER BPharm 2025, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognised baord with subjects like English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics. They must be at least 17 years old or older when submitting the application form. Diploma holders in Pharmacy are eligible for lateral entry into second year.
