For student who want a degree certificate for government related job at low admission fees.
Placements: No placements were provided from the college as it was a bachelor's in science degree. There were no internship provided either.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available for every department. The labs had good quality tools and notes. The teachers were very good and helped us at every moment in performing practicals. Each department had its own classroom and smart room. The library had almost 100 percent of the course-related books.
Faculty: The teachers are good and fully qualified. There is no problem with the teachers. The exams are administered by Guwahati University, so the pass percentage depends on the university.
Other: There was no boys' hostel at this college, but there was a girls' hostel.

Among the things I liked about the college were a great learning environment and friendships.
Placements: Since this is a college under Gauhati University, there is no direct placement facility. Many of the graduates of this college are working as government employees. There is no dedicated placement cell in this college; however, educators offer good advice on placement. As far as my knowledge goes, 2/3 out of 10 graduates are well placed.
Infrastructure: When I was studying, there were no Wi-Fi facilities in the college except in offices and the Computer Science department. The college has a beautiful library with a facility of a separate study room. Books ranging from foreign to the country's famous authors are available. The classrooms are under CCTV surveillance.
Faculty: The Chemistry department of this college is probably the best among the colleges affiliated with Gauhati University. There are 3 laboratories. When I was studying, there were 6 highly experienced faculty members and 2 bearers. Currently, the department is shifted to a new building. The best thing about our department is the pass percentage, which is about 90 to 100 percent.
Other: Chemistry was always my favorite subject, so I chose it. The campus days were the best days of my life.

I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: More than 75% of students got placed in our college. Companies won't visit our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. Wi-Fi is available in our college. All classrooms are excellent. The library has many books. There is no hostel in our college, so students can stay in PGs. Our college has a playground. We can play many sports like football, etc., in the playground.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. They are very helpful. They are excellent at teaching. This course is very useful if students want to go into civil services. Semester exams are quite difficult. The pass percentage is 62%.
Other: I chose this course because of my marks. Our college conducts many events and fests like fresher's parties, etc.

Review of Mangaldai College.
Placements: Above 50% of students got placed in our college. Some students wrote the IIT JAM exam and got placed in some renowned universities. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students. You can go for online internships and placements. Faculty members motivate us to crack such entrance in the classroom.
Infrastructure: There is an IT lab in our college. Many free Wi-Fi connections are available on our campus. You can use them for your study. Students are very supportive. Our college has a canteen. A shop is available inside our campus. The campus is spread over 34 acres of land. Our college has a huge field where many sports events are organised.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful. They encourage us to sit in many entrance exams. The teaching quality is quite good. There are many teachers in our college. This is good for us. Their teaching style is good.
Other: Our college offers courses like B.Sc., B.A., etc. I would recommend joining this college.

Mangaldai college, a college for Bachelors degree in arts, Science, and vocational studies.
Placements: Right now I am in 1st semester in botany honours in mangaldai college. Talking about placements, it's a normal college, after passing from this college, students either apply for government. Jobs or apply for Post graduation. After that they get placed somewhere. The college provides theoretical education, so there is not much placements here. You can get a normal Bachelor's degree from here. There is a department called B.Voc from where students get internship in private hospitals amd food companies like SRD, Nemcare, etc. From Physics department, they can join research centres.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, there is a good environment. The departments well-equipped buildings with everything required to study. But they don't have Wi-Fi. The rooms are clean. There are 3 toilets, 1 for girls, 2 for boys. There are lot of trees in campus. There is huge playground. Teachers are top class. They are highly educated. Specially my department which is botany, there are 7 faculty members, all are very meritorious and promising, solving every doubt of the students and helping us.
Faculty: The teachers are highly educated and helpful as mentioned earlier. They are from different places of Assam. They never skip classes specially in botany. They are very strict in terms of study and king otherwise. Also encourage and take part in sports and cultural activities. There is NCC, basketball court, carrom room, gym, for extra carriculer. Every year college week is organized by union body. The semester exam is held by gauhaty University. It's not that tough. Students get 6-9 CGPA.
Other: I love Biology and hence chose botany. I will further do my M.Sc. And Ph.D. In botany, besides botany department is very well known in the college. The practical equipments has to be improved. Crowd is very normal in campus. It's very calm environment. Campus surrounding is not so much crowded. There are UGC, obc scholarships in college.

Mangaldai college is a good choice for OBC category student. And has free admission also.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our college was minimum 60%. There are no package for students, the college admission depends on marks of higher secondary examination. Top recruiting companies of our course are Trinity fructa private limited, ITC, SRD foods pvt Ltd.
Infrastructure: The facilities of mangaldai college hostel is excellent. The girls hostel needs improvement. There are Wi-Fi facilities in college campus. The laboratory room quiet good and clean. And the laboratory room is safe for student and teacher experiment. Classrooms and the library needs improvement.
Faculty: The teachers of mangaldai college were very helpful in side of teaching of student. The teachers were very qualified and knowledgeable according to me. It has a course which can make the students industry ready. The difficulty level of the semester examination was average level. The pass percentage was 89%.
