Review of Manipal Univerity (Manipal College of Dentistry).

Placements: Approximately 100 students are enrolled on campus every year. No companies recruit us because we are in medical college and we have to do our PG first. The internship is done for one year within the college. Placements in our college are quite good, and you may end up with a decent job.

Infrastructure: Our college is pretty well-equipped with all the modern facilities and is advanced in digital and productive work than other colleges in India. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled including hostel, library, classrooms and clinics. Sports, medical and canteen facilities are also good.

Faculty: Professors in our college are quite experienced. Teachers here are quite helpful and are easily approachable regarding your educational doubts as well as if in need counselling. Students here are quite comfortable with the course structure.

Other: I opted for this course to become a doctor. The course is well organised.

Satisfied due to excellent facilities provided.

Placements: There were no placements offered as such. In most dental or medical courses, students are expected to find jobs on their own. They are merely supplied with the right tools and knowledge. We can apply to private clinics or bigger hospitals for a position.

Infrastructure: We had Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, air-conditioned classrooms, an excellent library that stocked a lot of books and journals. We had a huge sports facility centre that had a world-class gym, with steam and sauna. The hostel rooms are decent and the food is okay.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely qualified and knowledgeable, and they have a good experience in teaching students. The teaching quality and helpfulness depends on the teacher. Most of them teach well and are fairly helpful. We get to work in the hospital, so our exposure was good.
