Here is my honest review about placement, faculty members, and infrastructure.
Placements: Every year, more than 80% of students got placements from our college. Big companies like Wipro, Google, and TCS conducted interviews and selected the eligible students. The highest salary package here was 25 LPA, and the average package started from 3.5 LPA. College placement cell always brings the best opportunities for the students.
Infrastructure: Every staff and student of the college helped to keep the college campuses clean and tidy. Every classroom here was quite big and each one had air-conditioning and projector facilities. Our college had a big library where a large number of journals, books, and management books were available. There was also a field for sports. There was a canteen for hygienic food.
Faculty: Every year, more than 80% of students graduate from college with good marks. Many got jobs while many go abroad for higher studies. College faculty members helped us in every way. Teachers conducted mock tests every week, and they also conducted projects and practicals. Internships were arranged. Each teacher had special experience and Ph.D. holder.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: At that time, there was no internship program, but I don't know what the situation is now. But have a good placement assistance cell, guided by one of the faculty management professors and a well-known recruitment specialist named Brigesh John. When they teach well, students get good jobs. When I was in my final year, I heard about a campus placement drive where many multinational companies would be arriving.
Infrastructure: We are all postgraduate students, so we should stay in the hostel since we have to attend evening classes. The hostel is good, including facilities and amenities provided. The hostel canteen and food are also nice. The only complaint regarding the hostel is the toilets.
Faculty: They have experienced teaching staff for each department, although there are limitations, like in other colleges. The teaching staff is ready to spend their evening time on the 6-8 PM classes. They also have visiting professors. The course curriculum is a bit outdated, but professors bring in many new topics for discussion. The pedagogy is also a bit outdated, considering that many other MBA institutes have an innovative style of teaching. Some courses are offered on specific campuses, creating a lot of convenience for students who need to travel to different campuses. Exams are semester-wise, and classes are usually held as scheduled.
Other: Actually, I am from a commerce background, so I like marketing and finance topics, which is why I took admission in the MBA course. MBA is a highly reputable course, offering a wider range of opportunities compared to other subjects. There are many subjects for different sectors.

The college is the best for the MBA course.
Placements: About 70% of students are recruited from here. Cognizant, Apple, Google, etc., visit the college for placements. I am in my 2nd year, and this year our seniors have worked at multiple companies. The highest salary package is 27 LPA. The minimum salary package is 7 LPA. Roles offered are HR manager, marketing manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Everything in the classroom is finished to perfection. Free Wi-Fi is available for students and staff members in and around the college. There are hostels for both girls and boys near the college. The quality of life offered and the food are good. The college is relatively rigorous and provides students with a positive environment in which to study effectively and appreciatively.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Even during COVID-19, teachers help students prepare for exams, write notes, and do new lessons. They are even more dedicated during COVID-19. The dispute is resolved quickly every time, and students are very happy with it. Semester exams are very easy and the pass rate is 79%.

My best experience in this college.
Placements: The college also keeps any external faculty to ensure that students are capable enough to pass the aptitude test of the companies. To be eligible for placements you need to have above 60% together in all of the previous semesters. All the big 4 companies come here for placements and the salary package is also good considering freshers. The average is 3 lacs per annum. Other companies include Federal Bank, Godrej, etc. The placement cell of Marian College Kuttikkanam is very good.
Infrastructure: There are dormitories and 3 people at a time in a room. The registration process is done soon after we get admission. The meals are very nice and we will get at least everyday nonveg except on Fridays. The college follows outcome-based education, which means we don't follow exactly how the university prepares the curriculum. Our teachers have the power to change their subject's syllabus according to how they want it to be, so the faculty members often change the syllabus to involve current needs which will help students in the future.
Faculty: The curriculum is good for the future. Written examination as well as project works. There is an internal examination for every semester and this helps one evaluate how far they know each subject, then there is the university examination. Faculty members are excellent. They have tutors who have great experience in the field of teaching. Some tutors are Ph.D. holders which shows the college is looking for the best tutors to teach the students.

Review of Marian College.
Placements: In our college, we got placements from the 3rd year. We get placement training from the the first year of first semester. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Students who score above 60% and without arrears get placements. I got selected for placements with a package of 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Almost all books and journals are accessible in the library. Smart boards along with ICT tools are provided in each classroom.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very friendly with us. Our class advisor is such a very sweet person. He is more than a staff member to us. There are only six and less than six exams per semester, which is normal. Our admission process is very simple. We should submit our original certificates, and they return very safely.
Other: Annual fests in Caligo are held every year between September to November, depending upon the climate. Since the climate could be harsh. It is the biggest event of the college and involves lots of games, cultural programs, dance, music events, etc.

My best college - An honest review.
Placements: Marian College Kuttikkanam provides a great step for placements. Our college has been selected as a placement hub for many years because of good and large lab activities. Most of the famous companies visit the college to recruit students. From the fourth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Byju’s and Extra Smart visit the campus for placement. The college assures a minimum of a Rs. 20,000 package, and I plan to get a placement with a minimum package of 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: In my opinion, the hostel facilities provided by the college are expensive, and the food quality is poor. The hostel facilities provided are a room for 5-7 people, with an attached bathroom and a good-quality pipe connection. There is no registration fee required to avail of the hostel facility, but renting a room would be fine.
Faculty: Marian College Kuttikkanam uses the Moodle platform to conduct exams. So, we have exams every month, such as CA1, CA2, and CA3. CA1 and CA2 are conducted via the Moodle website. Model exams and semester exams are conducted orally. The faculty at the college is excellent. They have tutors who hold a Ph.D., which shows the college is looking for the best tutors to teach the students. All the faculty members have real-life industry exposure so that they can teach students with real-life experience to get a better idea of the theory. Exams are conducted on time and are already set to the crackdown.

Mess facilities and mess food, followed by its hygiene.
Placements: Students became eligible in the final year. Wipro, Cisco, etc., usually visited our college. The highest package offered was 40 LPA, and the average package was around 8 LPA. Around 65 to 74% of students were placed, while the rest chose to pursue higher studies.
Faculty: Faculty members were quite supportive if you showed interest in any specific worthwhile field. You were given opportunities, but you had to prove yourself worthy. Each group of 20 to 30 students was assigned one mentor, allowing direct interaction. While some faculty members were strict about misbehaviour, there were no issues if you didn't create any. The exams were not very difficult if you studied regularly or took notes from classes.
Other: The best part of the college for many was its balance between academics and culture. There wasn't a single day on campus without an event. Each department or class had the right and freedom to organize events of their own. Apart from that, the college itself hosted events once every month, including festivals like Caligo, Onam, Christmas, Kerala Piravi, etc.

The ambiance of the college was good, as it is in a hilltop area, which made the atmosphere cool.
Placements: The placement scenario of this college was decent due to its vast and diverse alumni network. After the sixth semester, students became eligible for campus placement. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Wipro, Infosys, Tata Motors, etc., visited the college, and a good number of offers were made, around 600 to 700. Some students also applied for further studies, and some got government jobs. My plan was to get a decent job in a good company.
Infrastructure: The hostel warden was not very friendly and was very strict, which made it boring. The rules set by them were too hard to follow. The rooms were good for the fee offered, but there was an issue in the summer as there was no fan in our hostel due to the cool climate.
Faculty: Faculty members were very supportive by nature. They always tried to solve the study-related problems of every student. They conducted extra classes for students if needed. Faculty members like Ram Shankar sir and Sushil Kumar Saroj Sir were the ones I liked the most. Exams were conducted without discrepancy, and the exam level was moderate. Some students also failed in exams, especially in Engineering Maths. The curriculum was very relevant.
