Great reputation with a long heritage and good infrastructure.

Placements: Earlier, during government recruitments, placement was nearly 100 per cent. Right now, for the last 2-3 years, placement rates have dropped in the government sector and students have started joining private practice more. Basic government job pay after the course for GR 2 is around Rs. 33,000, or 4 LPA. Top recruiters in private are Apollo, Belle View, and Narayana. Internship is mostly in our college itself, paid by the government. Top roles offered are Nursing Deputy Superintendent, Nursing Superintendent, Senior PHN, clinical instructor, lecturer, and sister tutor.

Infrastructure: Library is available for students during class hours. Infrastructure is overall good. Good classrooms, faculty, auditorium, and exam hall are present. Hostel facilities are available. Food is provided for hostelers in canteen. The food is better than in other hostels. The hostel facilities are provided to selected students only based on their financial condition and distance from college to home. Sports, picnics, and major Puja festivals are celebrated in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely knowledgeable. The faculty may be understaffed, but every faculty member is qualified and very good at guiding and teaching. And they are very helpful as well. The course is a professional course, and it does make you ready for your upcoming journey in the nursing industry. We mainly have one exam at the end of our year session. It is by the WBUHS with a moderately difficult level.
