College is very good. I recommend it for students who have passed 12th this year.

Placements: Top recruiting companies for the course include IT service companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Tech Mahindra, as well as product/software companies like IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Startups and mid-level IT firms also hire for software development and support roles, while some students also get opportunities in BPOs, banks, and government IT departments.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for the course/department include spacious and well-ventilated classrooms equipped with projectors and whiteboards for effective teaching, computer labs with a sufficient number of PCs, updated software, programming tools, and internet facility for practicals related to programming, database management, operating systems, networking, and other subjects. High-speed Wi-Fi is available on campus, especially in labs, library, and academic blocks, allowing students to access study material and online resources. Placements: Hi, I am a 2023 batch student, Taniya Tyagi, and I am doing a B.Sc. Computer Science from Meerut College, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Placements are not good, really, but average. I think it is the best college for B.Sc. Computer Science in our area, Meerut, so there are other courses provided by the college.

Placements: Average colleges offer moderate placement opportunities, mainly in mid-level companies. Packages are decent but not high. Placement support varies, proactive students benefit most. Internships and soft skills training can improve chances. I loved everything..

Infrastructure: A decent hostel with basic amenities, clean dorms, friendly staff, and a social vibe. Great for budget travelers and backpackers. Some areas may lack luxury, but overall it's a value-for-money stay with a welcoming atmosphere. And everything is good.

Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, the curriculum is well-structured with practical relevance. Exams are fair, focusing on understanding over rote learning. Overall, it's a balanced course offering strong academic and real-world skills. I'm satisfied.

Placements: I secure 74 percent in B.Sc. Computer Science. The highest package is 10 LPA while the lowest package ranges from 2 to 4 LPA. The average package offered at my college is between 6 and 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Meerut hostels generally offer good facilities, with reviews mentioning spacious and well-maintained rooms. The food in the mess and canteen is generally rated as good, with a variety of options. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also commonly available, with some institutions having dedicated sports grounds and gyms. Facilities and infrastructure available for my course are very good. Wi-Fi, classrooms, and everything required are available for students in this course. Overall, college is good for traditional courses and in future you want to prepare for it.

Placements: In traditional course, there is no placement facility provided by the college. There are departments and clubs for different skills. But they do not help in placements or even with internships. Self-finance courses in college are great. They have different approach to placements.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is not available. Hostel was closed in 2008 due to some incident. College was built in the british era. The architecture is good but not updated. Labs are good. Every department has its own labs and they are well-equipped. Assistants are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you put efforts. Teachers are well-qualified. They have teaching experience of the decade. Semester exams are easy to pass. If you put a little bit of effort, you can score good. Traditional courses have the same old syllabus from the 2020 NEP policy.

Other: Campus is located in the heart of Meerut city. Everything that students require is nearby. PG, stationary, and coaching for the different competitive exams are also near to college. Overall, surroundings are really good.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the class routine, library, and labs.

Placements: Many students got internships from my college and many students also got placements. About 60% of students received placement offers. Very big companies like Tata visit the college but hire few students.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available only in some places. Classrooms are very clean and all facilities are available for every student. A big library is also present in our college, and many books are there for students. The hostel is only available for girls and not for boys. Medical and canteen facilities are available. There is a separate stadium for sports and games. There are good facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind. They have a great kind of experience and knowledge. They teach very well. Classes are regular. Many teachers are PhD holders. The course curriculum is relevant. This course teaches me Physics, Chemistry, and Maths subjects which helps me grow my knowledge. After this course, we need a PG degree to become industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult but conceptual. The pass percentage is 50- 60%.

Other: I chose this course to go into the science and technology field and also to do research in Maths. The best thing about my course is it is challenging and knowledgeable.

Hi Tanu, Admissions are all open now since May 2019. They normally close by Mid July. Also note admissions in all Law colleges are entrance based.

The highest merit index is 89. And least in the merit list is 67. This is for unreserved category.

For OBC- cut off is 64.2.

For SC - cut off is 46.27.

In Meerut College there are 330 seats for LL.B. for which the only criteria set is 10+2 completed from a recognized board. The cutoff for boards is 75% minimum and the admission is simply on the merit basis of class 12th marks. You can easily apply through their website and as such there is no issue
