No, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences admissions are not merit-based. Students have to appear for any of the accepted national/ state-level exams. Those who do no have valid entrance scores may appear for the RUAS-AT instead.

Yes. The AICTE Pragati Scholarship is merit-based. Degree students are ranked on 12th Class marks. Diploma students are ranked on 10th Class marks. A separate merit list is made for each state and UT.
