MES College of Arts and Commerce Scholarships and Funding
Student Aid Fund:
Student Aid Fund is created to give financial assistance to the deserving candidates from humble backgrounds upto a maximum of Rs 3,000/- per year to meet partly or fully their tuition fees or to purchase books or similar other expenses.
To be eligible for the assistance, the annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs 1,50,000/-. The beneficiary should not be in receipt of any other scholarship/ assistance except the merit scholarship.
Student Education Fund:
Student Education Fund is created via teachers’ contribution for all those students who cannot afford finance for seeking education upto a maximum of Rs. 3000/-. The students of all the classes/programmes are eligible for the scholarship provided there is no backlog for the immediate previous exam and the annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs. 1,50,000/- .
Merit Scholarship for the first three students securing highest marks in class (not division) for each academic discipline provided they obtain at least 60% marks as follows:
- Merit scholarship for the first-year students for the first semester of the Academic year will be awarded on the basis of marks of the previous year’s examination (H.S.S.C.). Merit Scholarship for the second year and third-year students for the third and fifth semesters respectively will be awarded on the basis of marks of the previous year's second and fourth semester examination respectively. Merit scholarship for the second, fourth, and sixth semesters will be awarded on the basis of the first, third, and fifth-semester examination respectively.
