M.S. Welcomes all to a prosperous college career.
Placements: Placement offered by the college was less for the mechanical stream. Most of the opportunities were given to the computer stream. Number of placement opportunities were less and was mostly due to the pandemic. All the placement were done online and students were not able to do a face to face interview.
Infrastructure: Conditions of the hostel were good for both boys and girls. Management showed their responsibility in keeping the hostel environment clean and all the students took a part in showing their responsibility. Food provided by the canteen were also good quality and meals were also of good quality.
Faculty: Faculty members plays the most important role in the college life to guide us through the right path for our career. Teachers guide us in a very good way so that we could score good marks in each semesters. Teachers classified the students according to their abilities and helped in their semester exams.
Other: I am more passionate to the mechanical field and the only thing which made us all sad was the corona pandemic.

It is easily accessible, and it is the best college in terms of the lab infrastructure.
Placements: About 60% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini visited the campus. Top roles offered were associate consultant, software developer, and SEO analyst. The highest salary package offered in our course was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. About 2% of students got an internship in companies like KMML, Kollam Kerala and NIT Calicut.
Infrastructure: Computer labs of our college are the best in Kollam district. The college even conducts online competitive exams. Classrooms are always neat and clean. Every lab has the latest equipment and is very precise. The library has a good collection of books. Quality of hostel is not that good, and it is just okay.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The main thing was they were available, and students can call and ask doubts anytime. They were very cooperative while organising the event. There are even teachers who did influence us a lot. As per my opinion, 90% of the course curriculum in India is useless.
Other: I have chosen this course because IT is the only industry in India where you can get jobs. They should provide more industry-relevant subjects and more practical experience. Events are organised grand with the support of both faculty members and students.

Review of MES Institute of Technology And Management, Chathannoor.
Placements: Placements are okay. Some students get good offers, and some don’t because it also depends on their skills. Few companies come every year. The average package is not too high but is fine for freshers. Placement training is given, but sometimes it feels insufficient.
Infrastructure: The campus looks fine. Classrooms are normal. Labs have the required equipment, but a few systems work slowly sometimes. The library is a good place to study, but some books are old. The hostel is okay, and the food is average. The hostel building is in poor condition, and the water purifier is not clean.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful and explain topics well. Some teachers are strict about attendance and assignments. A few classes get boring, but overall, they support students when we have doubts. Faculty do not encourage students much in arts, sports, or other activities.
Other: The college has some events and fests, but not very often. Sometimes communication about programs is late. The friend circle and environment are good, and you can adjust easily. Overall, it is a decent place if you use the opportunities properly.
