    B.Tech Computer Science Journey: CEM.
Placements: I only just joined the college. It's only been two-three months. The college administration tells us that around 60% of students who complete the B.Tech degree get placements in companies like Infosys, etc. Interviews and all start from the seventh semester, and the companies will inform you then if you've been chosen or not. The average package is around 15,000. The top package was something around 60,000 to 80,000. You don't really need to top in all subjects; even if you manage to pass all subjects, you might have a chance. Top roles offered in my course are Software Engineer, Data Scientist, Product Manager, etc.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are good and very clean. The college is fully Wi-Fi networked. If you have a library pass, you can get the password for the Wi-Fi. Classrooms are also good, but some benches are a little damaged; overall, it's good. Every class is equipped with projectors, lights, and fans. They also have hostel facilities. I don't really know that much about the hostel because I'm a day-scholar, but I heard that food quality and rooms are good and clean. Every lab is equipped with AC except the workshop and Chemistry lab. They even have a well-equipped seminar hall with all kinds of facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are all friendly and helpful. They take classes with the help of projectors and good vibes. The first semester seems to be a little rushed because the time period for a semester to complete is six months, but it's been only two-three months, and they have already given the date for our semester exam. What we had to study in six months, now we have to study in three-four months. The first two semesters seem to be related to plus two, and then from the second year onwards, we start to study subject-based stuff. Finally, in the fourth year, we have to do internships and projects.
Other: Well, I actually have an interest in studying Computer Science, and since my relatives and parents told me it's a good decision, I took B.Tech. I don't really like studying Chemistry and Physics, but all engineering students studying under KTU have to study these subjects in the first two semesters. There are five or four scholarships available in this college. Some are E-Grantz, National Scholarship, etc.

In general the college is still developing. Not to give much hypes.
Placements: About 45–60% of students are getting placed from our institute. That's clearly an above-average number. The placement cell is actually doing a good job. But, to be honest, we get to know that the old placement cell have done a better job than the new placement cell. But can say that this placement cell is also doing well. The highest package offered is 5 LPA The lowest package offered is 3 LPA The avg package offered is 4 LPA It should be mentioned that the given packages are approximately. The real values will be very close to this. top recruiters that offer placement in our campus are Infosys and UST Global. Actually, our college doesn't give any internships. But can get access to internships outside. By means of other online platform. We can get internships to top companies like amazon, Google, etc. Top roles that is we can get to high roles in companies which is software development related. The roles offered maybe different depending o on our skills.
Infrastructure: The facilities given in the college are so average; yes, they give us access to Wi-Fi. But the Wi-Fi is really slow on every other side of the college, except for some. Lab facilities are quite below average, except for the computer science-related labs. Every other lab out there is just a simple setup. Actually, they are not very useful at all. Classrooms are good for getting enough space to fill the students. The light and fans are enough. But the classes don't get inbuilt projectors, which is a negative quality. Sports and games are so bad in this college that we don't even have a proper field to play on. We get to play on other grounds if any tournaments or things happen. That is quite comfortable. It's okay about talking about indoor sports; they provide an above-average facility to enjoy indoor games. But talking about outdoor sports, it is the worst college to join if you are interested in sports.
Faculty: Talking about the teachers, I can easily say that the teachers are well qualified enough for teaching in an engineering college. Most of the teachers are friendly and help us in the academics really well. Expect that some these 'these'some' teachers are not so good in knowledge and other aspects. They are not even friendly to us. But a fact to remember is that engineering is a thing where majority of the things we need to self-study are. Hence, the classes the teachers provide are not 100%. We actually need to learn things outside that would really help us in terms of getting job or saying that we actually learned things. Not by heart the syllabus. The thing about course curriculum is that the college follows the curriculum put forward by ktu. That's actually not 100% relevant. If we took a branch, for example, if you took computer Science to study,. You actually get to study things which are not related to things you want to study. They are just random topics. But can't blame them because, in some of subjects, we should have a small idea about it in our daily lives. But this may not be the perception of every student's; they might find really difficult to study things that they literally have no interest in. Hence, I can say that the curriculum is 50% relevant. And for the course we opted for, we actually got a lot less knowledge about the subject. They don't update the syllabus accordingly. We are still studying things about inventions made years ago. That may not be relevant in this period. The thing about semester exams is that it come really quickly. We doesn't even get enough time to prepare for our exams, so we get lots of other jobs like record writing, assignments, labs, club activities, etc. These things make the semester exams tough. Pass percentage is really only about 50–60% of students.
Other: I took computer Science and engineering, which is the course I had interest in. In the +2 degree, I took computer science as my major subject. Which made me like this subject. Hence, I wanted to continue computer Science in B.Teach. best thing is that we get to SEE things logically. It keeps the study interesting throughout without getting boring. Things to be improved are the things the curriculum let us study. By updating the things we need to study. We get information about what new things are occurring in our field. Events occurring on campus is much fewer. We don't even have a stage; hence, the functions occurring is really limited. But the organizations put in efforts to make it worth with the amount of money in hand. The seniors and other students in the campus is really friendly. The campus surrounding is safe. We have an airport really close to the campus. Hence, the area is quite safe and can really enjoy the view of planet landing and departing. Scholarships are impressive I get a scholarship called E. K NAYANAR scholarship, which is given to students who scored marks above 80% in +2 or equivalent degree. And every other scholarship that is eligible for students of different categories is also available in the college. Speaking about the extracurricular activities, it are quite limited there. But they try to organize quite well.

Overall, it’s a nice college. Please don't give much hype to the College.
Placements: About 60-70% of the students got placed. The salary packages and all depend upon the company that you are hiring. UST Global is the highest company that ever came. Frankly speaking, I didn't go for any one of the internships until now, so I don't know about that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There is a library in which all kinds of study material are available. There is no connection for Wi-Fi inside the campus. Classrooms are also neat and clean. There is no dedicated hostel for College. There is also a canteen which serves good food. If you are interested in sports events, you can represent them in KTU Zonal.
Faculty: The college has a good team of faculty members. Everyone is kind and helpful in studies. They have good teaching skills, too. Talking about exams, there are two internal exams which are conducted by the college out of 50 marks, and an average of these 50 marks is taken in order to prepare for the final internals.
Other: I chose this course because of my area of interest in electronics. Events and fests usually are done in the month of April-May. Definitely, all the students will get a chance to participate in those events.

They have high facilities and high placement opportunities.
Placements: My college is good at placement scheme. Most of the placement activities are done in my department which is computer science department. Total of about 50% of students are placed from my college. The highest package offered is about 11 LPA, and the average package is about 5 LPA. Infosys, UST Global, Quest Global, and IBM are top companies that approached our college. Our college itself provides placements to medium and top-level including Infosys, Quest Global, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure. Class is provided with projectors and college has Wi-Fi network. Open library is provided to everyone in the college. The hostel is nearby the college and has good facilities for food, living, and travel to college. There is also a medical room in college, good and clean canteen. Our college also provides sports and arts activities at national level.
Faculty: Teachers are like our friends, they help us in every field of our career. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable to take classes. Teaching processes are best. The course scheme is also good in order to make students more relevant in their studies. The curriculum provided is much better. Exams are good enough to pass and the questions are not tough enough to attend. The pass percentage of college is about 82%.
Other: This course is one of the leading courses in my current life. They provide good opportunities in order to improve our skills and also job opportunities. The course feature is that it is interesting to study as we should understand the concept. College conducts fests, sports, and arts, but I have the choice to improve the days of fests and other activities. They also provided scholarship activities like Egrantz and Ek Nayanar scholarships.
