The cutoff for B.E. / B.Tech at Methodist College of Engineering & Technology varies each year, depending on the Telangana EAMCET rank, the number of applicants, and the branch demand. Typically, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) have higher cutoffs compared to other branches like Mechanical or Civil. Admission to Methodist College of Engineering & Technology (MCET), Hyderabad is comparatively competitive and highly based on entrance test marks such as TS EAMCET for B.E./B.Tech and TSICET for MBA. For engineering courses, overall TS EAMCET 2025 cutoff for the general category ranged from 80,762 to 138,649. More sought-after branches such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and CSE with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning had lower closing ranks, therefore were slightly more competitive to enroll in. Nonetheless, branches such as Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering had higher closing ranks, therefore were easy to enroll in. For MBA admissions under TSICET, the general category cutoff was highly competitive. The maximum programme closed at rank 7,300. The candidates belonging to reserved categories such as BCA, BCB, SC, and ST had much higher closing ranks, which enhanced their chances of getting admissions.
