The MAT 2026 February session (PBT mode) examination for admission to the MBA course has been conducted. The CBT mode examination is scheduled for Mar 8, 2026.

A few more updates are given below:

The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
The MAH MBA CET 2026 registration period is now over for admission to the MBA/MMS courses. The session 1 exam will be conducted tentatively from Apr 6 to Apr 8, 2026, and the session 2 exam will be held on May 9, 2026(Tentative).
The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
The ATMA 2026 May session registration has started for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. The last date to register is Apr 21, 2026, with the exam being scheduled for May 3, 2026.
The XAT 2026 result is out for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Students need to log in to the official XAT portal to access and download their scorecard.

Review of MGM Institute of Management Studies and Research.

Placements: Placements are mostly handled by the placements faculty members, who put a lot of effort into getting students placed. I am satisfied to get placed early. Most of the batch gets placed easily. Usually, students have big MNCs coming on board.

Infrastructure: In this college, the basic needs are very well-fulfilled, what students expect in an MBA college. Auditorium and library are big in this college. All the classrooms are clean. The campus is very huge as students can see different students from different departments. The canteen is also good.

Faculty: The best thing about this college is the teaching faculty members, they are very good and humble. Also, they help students whenever they need them. They will be with students throughout their MBA life. Even the director of the college is very good.

Our college is good for MS course.

Placements: Placements are good. They stick with students till they get placed. Sometimes it's hard to find a job and get into the right place but the placement staff and college help students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with excellent hostel facilities. Canteen is good and accessible to all the staff and students. Food in the canteen is good and priced fairly. Institute is located close to MGM hospital so there is a lot of crowd.

Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams conducted are excellent. Even during covid they were very thorough with their examination and made sure that every student gave exam properly and fairly. Faculty is very helpful to the students. Non-teaching staff is very supportive.

Other: We had online MS due to covid. In that tough situation also facilities are the best. Best institute to do MS.

It is one of the best institutes.

Placements: I am pursuing MMS from MGM's Institute of Management Studies and Research, Kamothe. Most of the students are placed in our batch. Every student from our batch got summer internship for their specialisation. College brings various recruiting companies. Roles offered by companies are analyst, procurement specialist, purchase and logistics coordinator, deputy manager, etc. The college has a dedicated placement cell, which brings various companies and they also try to place every student.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. The college has a library, auditorium, classrooms, hostel, canteen, and medical facilities. Overall, the infrastructure is good.

Faculty: The college has highly qualified faculty members who help students throughout the session with various issues apart from studies. Most of the students passed in semester exams and faculty members also help students with the preparation of exams. They are supportive and encouraging.

Placements: Internship starts at the end of 1st semester. It will help to grow corporate skills and improve personality. Students get placed before the last semester. The placement coordinator will guide you throughout and will give you good opportunities in prestigious companies.

Infrastructure: Excellent facilities are provided. Well maintained infrastructure having spacious classrooms with air conditioners, huge auditorium, good library services, quality food with affordable price is available at the canteen. Cleanliness is maintained throughout the whole campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly professional, cooperative, and experienced, and provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the corporate world. Encourage students for their betterment. Provide career-oriented courses, scholarships, and other facilities.

Faculty members are very good, but the crowd isn't good.

Placements: Everyone got an internship in various companies like Pioneer Management Consultant Pvt Ltd, Aditya Birla, and BLL. Placements here are not that great, but the learning experience is very good. Faculty members also support and try to bring the best placement options for students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Classrooms have air-conditioners and projector. The library is good, and we get all types of books like inspirational, fictional, mythological, course-related, etc. The canteen is well-organised, spacious and has varieties of food at a reasonable price.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very good, knowledgeable and very supportive. Teaching quality is very good, and they don't just give theoretical knowledge but also give us practical knowledge by conducting various activities. I believe getting practical knowledge and learning things in an exciting way makes a person more knowledgeable and ready for the industry.

Good faculty, good infrastructure and all other facilities.

Placements: The college did not provide us with any placement assistance. There were few companies where our resumes were forwarded by one of our faculty and only top 10 rankers of our batch were supposed to appear for the interview. There was a project that we had to do, for that we had to search for internships on our own. However, now the management had changed and students are getting better exposure and placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at MGM IMSR is great. Labs are well equipped, CCTVs are there for security purpose, Wi-Fi is available in the computer labs. The library has all the necessary books and other reference material. For entertainment purpose, there is annual college festival Ra Ra Avis and for educational purposes, there is an industrial visit in some other state which indirectly becomes a fun part, at minimal costs. There is a huge canteen within the premises which provides a variety of things and a cafe. Xerox is also available within premises. MGM has its own hospital within the college premises.

Faculty: The college is affiliated to Mumbai University. Faculty at MGM IMSR is very professional and cooperative. All the professors are well versed with the subjects. They guide the students at each step till the student understands the topic. There are a few visiting faculty members for specialisation purpose who teach with their life experiences and provide guidance for future purpose. Faculty members provide students with their own notes for the reference and other necessary reference books on demand.

Other: There is ample space for parking inside the college. MGM IMSR is tobacco free, smoking is strictly prohibited within the premises of the college. There is anti-ragging policy at the college. Strict discipline is followed within premises without any pressure on the student. Very happy and calm environment. Fees are minimal and there is an exemption of fees for some students.
