MCC is unarguably the best college to study any course.
Placements: MCC is one of the best colleges when it comes to internships and placements. Deloitte, JP Morgan Chase, and many other companies offer internships and placements to students of MCC. To ensure the best placements, students are trained through mock interviews and aptitude tests. It builds the right confidence before appearing for placement drives.
Infrastructure: Students from every stream have their own academic blocks at MCC. Even though the college was established more than seven decades ago, each block is as modern as one can ask for. The infrastructure as a whole is excellent. The only problem is that, despite having a large student strength, the hostel facilities are limited.
Faculty: Faculty members maintain academics at a very high standard. I have two major subjects, Political Science and Economics. Faculty members and Heads of Department of both departments are extremely good. In every class, they answer as many student doubts as possible. It ensures that no student feels left behind on any topic discussed during lectures.
Other: MCC has one of the best fests and the best crowd. Earlier, it was only a girls' college, but it became a deemed-to-be university. It has become a co-educational university.

MCC is marvellous in all aspects.
Placements: The 75-year legacy that MCC holds is because of its placement cell, as it has managed to place N number of students so far. For our department, placements are less, but students do get the right opportunities, and for that no one can actually complain. I hope the placement scenario for our department gets better next year as I will be graduating in 2027.
Infrastructure: Unarguably, the largest auditorium on our campus has a seating capacity of over 2500 students. I have not seen any bigger auditorium than that, as it has hosted various personalities from different fields and even combined guest lectures happen there. There is a girls' hostel inside the campus which is supervised by a sister, and thus discipline of the highest level has to be maintained.
Faculty: Experience is what you can see evidently from faculty members of MCC, as one of the Psychology faculty members has been teaching here for more than two decades now. Since mine is a dual course, the HOD from both of those departments holds a PhD degree. Philosophy faculty also have completed her M.Phil as well.
Other: Around 40 clubs are available at MCC, and one can be a part of as many as they want. The crowd is unarguably the best, and so is MCC's fest as well.

Absolutely satisfied because of crowd and infrastructure.
Placements: 70 per cent of students were placed approximately. Most of them did not sit for placements. The lowest package was 2 Lacs per annum. The highest package was 48 Lacs per annum. College does not help with internships. Top roles in my course were analyst roles in financial firms or statistical roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of hostel is not good. No food, problems in the washrooms. Like, no hot water and no gym. There is a curfew of 7:30. Canteen food is good and reasonable. There are not many sports facilities. The Wi-Fi of the hostel does not work at times.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Few of them are bad. Rest are okay. My course exams are hard, and we have to study a lot. Course curriculum is not industry-relevant, but it prepares you for a Masters. Pass percentage is around 34 per cent. Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified.

College is good.
Placements: Our college has strong placements. The overall placement rate is around 79-90 percent depending on the course and batch. Commerce and management have the highest placement packages. The highest package is 21.5 LPA-24.8 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA-5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Accenture, PwC, EY, IBM, Infosys, Amazon, etc. Around 60-70 percent of students secure internships which begin from the 2nd year.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our college include labs which are well-maintained. There is a library which has a wide range of novels and even textbooks and a reading room where we can sit peacefully and read. I have no idea about a hostel as I don't live in one. The canteen is good and hygiene is well-maintained. There is a medical room where the facilities are excellent. Even sports and games are good. There's also a gym in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. I would say the teaching quality is mid as most teachers don't care about us and don't teach us even when they are qualified. The even semester exams are comparatively harder than the odd semester exams.
Other: Everything is perfect just that the teaching should be improved.

It is a college to recommend.
Placements: Placements are moderate. Around 50-60% who actively apply get placed, while others go for M.Sc. research. The highest package offered around is 5-6 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Common roles are data entry and quality analysis in top companies like Infosys and Wipro.
Infrastructure: I'm a local, so I don't know much about the hostel here. But my friends who stay there are pretty comfortable, but again, it's strict and curfew-locked timings. Discipline is very important here, which is not something to be overlooked. Not too much comfort, but also not very bad.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most teachers are supportive & approachable for doubts. Curriculum is relevant and builds a strong academic base, but students need extra effort outside to be industry-ready. The pass percentage is high in most courses.
Other: I'm invested in life sciences. The best part is practical lab sessions and concept-based learning. College is also filled with lots of fests and extracurricular activities.

M.Sc in Life Sciences - Batch of 2024
5.0
5.0Placements5.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
Overall, it is the best college for the M.Sc. in Life Sciences course.
Placements: Placements in our course were average. Almost 60 percent of pupils obtained jobs in international corporations. The average wage was 16 LPA. The maximum package offered was 21 LPA. The course also included vocational training. The top recruitment firms included Reliance Life Sciences, Bharat Biotech, and IQVIA. The most popular job titles were biochemist, biomedical scientist, and others.
Infrastructure: The college provided Wi-Fi in the hostels, but we had to fill out a form and ensure availability to get access. Classrooms were fully air-conditioned, but the hostels were not. Every hostel had a special menu. The mess food was fine. There were also three restaurants on campus.
Faculty: Teachers were highly competent and helpful. Every faculty member helped students in every circumstance. The exams for the semester were not particularly pleasant. Students who dedicated a lot of time to their studies were likely to perform well on the exams. 50 percent of students were successful. Appropriate instruction prepared students for the workforce.
