B.E. in Information Science and Engineering - Batch of 2024

I am not very satisfied with our college, they can improve placement opportunities and sports.
Placements: I am from the 2024 batch. I am placed as a Java developer, but many of my friends faced issues in placements. The 2023 batch had good placements but from our batch its little bad. They need to concentrate on providing placements with good report with some good companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was fine, but when it rains, the rainwater gets settled in the ground. If there were any exams in the ion digital zone, we do not have proper parking, so you can park on the college grounds. Sometimes drainage smells so bad that it makes us feel uncomfortable.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful in the Information Science and Engineering branch, they support placements, culturals, sports and academics. They want everyone to participate in each and every activity that was organized by the college. Teachers have good experience in the subject.
Other: Information Science and Engineering was the same course as same as Computer Science and Engineering. The placement was good for the particular branch and teachers were more interactive.

Honest review of the Cambridge Institute of Technology.
Placements: I just joined CIT in 2025, and 8 have no idea about the placements. But I have heard that a student was placed in a very good company with 54 LPA, which I think is pretty good. Overall, the university is so good, and I can say that anyone can join.
Infrastructure: Well, I am not a hostel student, but the Wi-Fi is available everywhere, but you need the password. It's not like open for everyone, but you can ask for the password, and the faculty ain't that strict, so they will give the password, so it's just about asking. Sports and gaming opportunities are fantastic.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but when exam time comes, it's just a horror. Like for my first internals, we had 2 exams in a day and we had like 3 modules, and it was very difficult to cope with the syllabus, so it is stressing me as a student who is a day scholar.

I am satisfied with facilities provided by the college.
Placements: I belong to the batch of 2023-2025 under the MBA department. About 75% of students are placed with respect to MBA. The highest package is 6 LPA and above, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. TCS, Tech Fino, etc., visit our college. 100% of students get internships in all the fields of finance, marketing, business analytics, and HR.
Infrastructure: With respect to the infrastructure provided at Cambridge for the course and hostel. It is extremely good. There is a large library that helps students to learn and explore more. The hostel facilities are hygienic and clean. The food is nutritious and delicious.
Faculty: Faculty members at Cambridge are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, and always helpful. They clear complex doubts and also provide practical exposure to learn something apart from theoretical knowledge. The difficulty level of the semester exams depends on the individual perspective of learning and gaining knowledge.
Other: They also encourage us to participate in various events and extracurricular activities to gain knowledge and socialize with others.

Excellent infrastructure and facilities, they are very kind and helpful.
Placements: Most of the students are placed as interns, and some are placed as full-time employees as well. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are like TCS, Techfino, etc. Initially, the roles offered are like Management trainee, Digital marketing executive, etc.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is provided, the library is excellent, where we have a very good environment to prepare, as well as a good amount of books are kept over there and also a digital library system is available. Labs were also kept clean and tidy. Overall, the infrastructure is well and good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful at any time for any kind of doubt. Courses are also relevant, and they make the students ready for the industry requirements. When you are prepared well with the guidance of facilities and with your dedication, it's absolutely dead easy. 98% is the pass percentage.

An average college, just like any other tier-3 college.
Placements: Placements in my branch started this year, as it was a new branch introduced in 2021. The average package offered is 3 to 4 LPA. 30 to 40% of the students get placed. The highest was 6 to 7 LPA. Mostly, Mass recruiters come here. No Amazon, Oracle, or AI center companies hire from here. Wipro, Infosys, etc., are the companies that recruit from here.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of the college is good. The new building for the second year onwards is good. The basic science block for the first year is not that good. During the summer, it gets hot, with only a few fans working properly. The washrooms in the basic science department are pathetic. The library is the best part of the entire college. It is very large, occupying three floors and equipped with every major book. Sports department is also very good. The college has a Gym and an indoor sports facility, such as badminton, table tennis, etc. There is a large cricket ground. A football turf, a basketball court, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are not that good for the first years. I mean, only very few faculty members are highly knowledgeable and teach properly. The rest of the faculty members (almost 80%) do not teach properly. Some rush, some do time-pass. Some treat us as if we are IIT graduates. Most importantly, they are not that good in English (Some faculty members). Sem exams are really easy to pass, almost 95% of them pass. Scoring depends on your effort. Course curriculum is not at all relevant to the modern technology or industry demands. They teach basic C in the first sem and no programming in second sem.
Other: I chose this course because I like programming in Java and Python. The AI/ML field is booming and very interesting. I would wish that in the upcoming semesters. They teach core subjects related to my field, NLP, CV, Regression, CUDA programming, and hands on projects related to these topics. There are two fests in a year. Chiguru is the main fest, and a tech fest named Open House. Coming to the campus crowd, you get to see a vast majority of Nepal students. If you are very passionate about coding and programming, you will not get that environment over here for sure.

It is a good campus with good placements and good education.
Placements: The course was good, and the placements are also good. For my course, I hope that I will get a nice placement in my college only. It is good, and the teaching is also good. I'm grateful to join this college; I’m even referring my cousin to join this college. I'm happy to share these things.
Infrastructure: My course is Cyber Security in the CSE branch, and it has a good future. I'm not in the hostel, but some of my friends are in the hostel. They will tell you the food is good and the hostel is also clean. They will take care of us, and in any health issues, they will only take care of those things. It's good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They are friendly. If we have any doubts, we clarify them immediately. If we are in a class and we have a doubt, we can text them, and they will teach us at any time. I’m happy to have such teachers, and the exams were good, but it was too strict during exam time.
