The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering is a two-year full-time degree course. The MCA programme is designed for students who want to specialize in computer applications and software development. The programme includes a professional training project in the industry that lasts 4-6 months.
The Mumbai campus of MPSTME is the flagship campus of MPSTME, NMIMS. The other campuses of MPSTME, NMIMS are located in Navi Mumbai, Chandigarh, Indore, Hyderabad, and Shirpur.The Mumbai campus of NMIMS has a total of 17 constituent schools and 9 Centres of Excellence under the NMIMS umbrella.
After paying the admission fee, the admitted candidates can apply for the hostel facility at the Mumbai campus of MPSTME NMIMS through the NMIMS hostel application portal. When the candidate receives the approval of the hostel application, he/she has to make the payment of the hostel fees. The hostel accomodation at NMIMS is given on a first-come, firse-served basis.
Faculty Reviews
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good but 80% of them are very good at their work and know what they are teaching. The remaining 20% are just either visiting faculty members or teach badly and as a result the internals are messed up for that particular subject. Exam guidelines are quite strict you definitely cannot cheat in any of the exams, cheating is almost impossible. Syllabus is quite well-updated and relevant, the college pass percentage is almost in a class about 70%-75%.
Faculty: The faculty for B.Tech was good, but the faculty for MBA is superb. B.Tech faculty were very supportive in any case, but MBA faculty are highly professional and supportive as well, but only in academic cases. The exams for the college are easy; you just need 40 percent to pass.
Faculty: Teachers or faculty in the university as a whole are qualified and knowledgeable with perfect techniques of how to make students understand the topic in a good way. The students get more practical knowledge from the faculty, so they become industry-ready. As they focus a lot on academics, the exams are quite tough. 40% is the minimum you've to score.
Faculty: All the faculties are super helpful and are very qualified in their specific fields. They also teach all the concepts virtually, which helps to understand them better. The exams over here are quite difficult but the faculties provide all the important notes and help you prepare for the exam.
Faculty: Professor-to-student ratio is 1:50, where teachers are approachable. Some of the brilliant faculties are due to their brilliant communication skills. The testing schedule includes a mini-test, mid-semester and end-of-semester exams, assignments, lab work, and a viva.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful by nature and they are also well-experienced in the various industrial fields. They are knowledgeable and share their experience in class as well so that the students can learn from it and be future-ready. The teaching quality was good. And the course is also relevant. The exams are medium to easy for cracking, with a pass percentage of around 85%.
Faculty: Yes quality teaching is ensure by qualified professors. The curriculum design is a perfect fit for the course chosen only relevant subjects needed for industry readiness are taught. The exams are quite challenging but are easy to crack if studies are done thoroughly.
Faculty: The exams are definitely not easy and they are set in a way to test your skills and understanding of the subject In subjects like Physics you are going to have many application based questions and if you have not practiced the questions before then there is no way you can answer them. You could say the same about Math related question papers and programming related question papers as well. The teachers are very qualified, helpful and friendly . Faculty: Faculty members are Ph.D. scholars. They are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant and helps us with real-life problems and learning. It also makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are tough. If we attend classes regularly then we can score good marks.
Faculty: Excellent and qualified faculty with valuable and appropriate training. The course curriculum is properly designed to teach technology with management and is very relevant and fuels our skills. Semester exams are easy to crack for those who are attentive and alert in class as everything is discussed. It does make the students industry ready and skilled well.
Faculty: Our college does not have great faculty members. It has a good syllabus. Exams are very strict. Attendance is very important in the college as it is a part of NMIMS University. Teachers are very qualified but cannot teach well. There are a lot of subjects that are irrelevant to engineering.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well structured, and the faculty members are with great knowledge and industry experience. The faculty members are very helpful. The pass percentage is around 95%. The exams are not that tough if students know about their topic.
