Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022

It was a nice college for Polytechnic courses.
Placements: 100% of students were placed in the Diploma course. Around Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000 per month was offered. I was also selected for the campus interview by LMW Company in Coimbatore. My package was 2.6 LPA. The Diploma is a basic knowledge of engineering, so it was good for everyone.
Infrastructure: All classrooms were equipped with projectors, smart boards, and audio-visual systems. There were comfortable, conducive reading rooms and study areas. Rooms were comfortable with hygienic mess or canteen facilities and essential amenities like laundry and 24/7 water supply.
Faculty: Faculty members were skilled in teaching methods and strategies. They could adapt their approach to meet the needs of different learners. Polytechnic semester exams were generally considered manageable, with a focus on understanding concepts rather than rote memorization. The pass percentage was typically around 40%.
Other: The best thing about Polytechnic students was that when they joined as lateral entry students. Their technical skills were better than their classmates. Moreover, when they joined B.Tech, they saved one year too.
