Best college for BMS in Mumbai.
Placements: Around 60 companies come for placements with good roles. The highest salary package for our course was 20 LPA, and the average was 6.5 LPA. Companies also offer summer internships for second-year students, and one can also easily secure an internship off-campus using the college brand name.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very nice. It also has Wi-Fi and a big library with 150 seating capacity. The college canteen is not that good, but everything else, like classrooms, gymkhana, and other facilities, is top-notch. One must definitely consider NM as first priority for BMS in Mumbai.
Faculty: We have well-qualified teachers who are very helpful and knowledgeable. The overall course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are difficult, but with regular preparation, one can easily score an A+ or an O grade. Attendance is mandatory. One has to strictly maintain above 75% attendance or will get debarred.

Review of BMS at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.
Placements: 50-55 percent of the students got placed. Top recruiters are ICICI Bank, Moody's, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Barclays, and EY. The highest package is 13 LPA the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Roles offered are Risk Analyst, Relationship Manager, Sales Executive, Research Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: There is centralised air conditioning in the entire college. There are smart boards in every classroom, Wi-Fi accessibility in the entire college, library with a capacity of 250-300 students, a computer lab with more than 60 computers, and no hostel for specifically NM College. SVKM hostel is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified holding professional certificates, PhD's, etc. They are helpful especially full-time faculty members. The teaching quality is good, the study material is overall very good and updated, and the semester exams are quite difficult but doable. 55 out of 60 students pass the exams.
Other: BMS gives an option of Marketing and Finance with open doors to various domains. There are many fests and events and committees like NSS, Cultural Society, Umang, Arithmos, Arthashastra, Insight, etc.

B.Com. in Accounts and Finance - Batch of 2028

Faculty and infrastructure are top-notch, but the fee is higher for the B.Com course.
Placements: A lot of big companies visited the college for the 2025 placement session, such as Morgan Stanley, KPMG, Barclays, and Goldman Sachs. The average package offered is around 6 LPA for B.Com graduates (including all specialisations). The highest package offered is around 22 LPA.
Infrastructure: Every classroom is big enough to accommodate around 150 students (My class size is 70 only). It has a centralized cooling system. NM College has one of the best infrastructures in all UG colleges in India. The original building of NM college is under renovation, and we are studying in another college named Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic and Degree College, which is owned by the SVKM Trust, and they also own NM college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. The teaching quality is top-notch. In B.Com. in Accounts and Finance course, almost all major course faculty members are CAs and have more than 10 years of experience in the accounting and finance field. Semester exams are difficult, but the pass percentage is high (Around 100 percent in my course and 60-70 percent in total).

Once in a lifetime experience.
Placements: I completed my B.Com in May 2025, and around 90 percent of my batch was pursuing CA or any other finance-related professional courses, which required them to work alongside their studies. As a result, only a few students actively participated in the campus placement. The college attracts excellent opportunities from reputed companies such as ICICI Bank, JP Morgan, etc., offering competitive salary packages. Moreover, the college's strong brand name and reputation help the students pursuing such professional courses secure better work opportunities during their journey (BIG4s and top consulting firms), adding value to their growth.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure honesty is A tier given the feels that is paid for the B.Com course with a fully air-conditioned building, Wi-Fi, and a great library facility with an excellent reading room facility to prepare for studies efficiently. The only problem is the fact that there is no campus as such, and thus, the outdoor arrangement is very limited. Further, there is no hostel facility, and students have to take care of their own arrangements.
Faculty: The teachers are actually one of the successful pillars behind the brand name that the college holds. Every faculty is participative and encouraging and skilled in their own quota, and are always eager to impart knowledge. This is also because the college has a very relevant curriculum, atleast for B.Com, which matches with several professional courses as well, so there is always a fire in classrooms during discussions which keeps the desire to learn awake. Semester Exams are quite difficult, but you can ace them if you have actually paid attention and paid notice to the syllabus.
Other: Since I was a top student in school, there was no doubt that I would opt for NM, given the high reputation and alumni that have passed through this institution. Honestly speaking, everything here may feel grueling at times, especially if you are simultaneously pursuing any professional course, but I can vouch for the fact that these grueling years would make you ready for any adventure in life. The joys during events, class debates, and the cries during studying for exams all build the students silently into a person ready to take on any challenge with courage.

Overall, a great college with strict attendance, but one of the best college life experiences.
Placements: I can't really say much about placements as of now, as I'm in my first year of my degree. But I've heard it's good, but just above average, nothing exceptional. I have seen people get into Deloitte and other great companies, but very few, maybe 5 out of 200–300.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good and advanced, as the entire college is air-conditioned, including all the classrooms. Almost all classrooms are equipped with a smart board, charging sockets, speakers, fire alarms, and sprinklers, with huge windows for sunlight and views. I don't live in the hostel, so I can't say anything about it.
Faculty: Teachers are nice and well-educated. They know what they are talking and teaching. The curriculum is very up-to-date and modern, with some topics even related to current real-world situations. Worldly matters and the latest trends are frequently discussed and used as examples in the lectures. The lectures are fun and interactive, with some including activities and games. The sports lectures are delightful. The exams are difficult, but a little study helps you get through.
Other: I chose this course as it aligns with my professional course that I'm currently doing. I wish there were fewer subjects and a more lenient attendance criterion. The fests and events are crazy and frequent. It gives college life vibes.

A college has more pros and a few cons.
Placements: There are a total of 5 divisions for B.Com in the college, with around 80-100 students per class. I am in my first year of college. The college provides various kinds of internships in their first year as well as second year, from social media intern to market analysis intern, etc. Placements are offered with average packages. I don't have much information. The college is not meant for those who are pursuing CA and live far away from the college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, library, computer labs, and many facilities are top-notch. The quality of the food available in the canteen is great at a reasonable price. Medical facilities are not used that often in the college, but they are established in a small room. Sports room is a big room with around 4 table tennis tables and other indoor sports as well. Wi-Fi in the college is only used for the purpose of studying, as there are jammers in the college, so that there is no usage of any social media apps.
Faculty: One student will find various kinds of teachers in the college, from good to bad. Some teachers teach exceptionally well, and some don't even care about the class and just do their own work. B.Com students will find some subjects not relevant to B.Com, as there is no relation. This is because of the new NEP policy. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready, as many industrial trips and seminars are organised by the college itself.
Other: The college is very strict with respect to attendance, as the criterion is a minimum of 75 percent. Students get debarred if they don't meet the criteria.
