XISS Ranchi Admission 2026: Fees, Courses, Eligibility, Dates & Selection

 Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi offers courses in multiple specialisations. Candidates have a variety of fields to choose from. XISS offers full time 2 year It offers full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management courses various disciplines like Human Resources Management, Rural Management, IT, Finance and Marketing and accepts XAT/CAT/CMAT scores. The cut off percentile for XISS's various courses are mentioned as follows:

• Finance - 50+
• Marketing - 50+
• Rural Management - 30+
• Information Technology - 30

2. XISS offers PGDM in four specializations: Human Resource Management (HRM),  Rural Management (RM),  Marketing Management (MM), and Financial Management (FM).
3. Hostel Fees (2024):

• Hostel fees for double occupancy:
• Boys: 68,400 per annum
• Girls: 98,400 per annum
• Boys currently stay at St. Paul’s Hostel, and a new boys’ hostel is under construction.
• Room types and charges:
• 1 Seater: 10,000 per month
• 2 Seater: 8,000 per month
• 3 Seater: 6,000 per month
• 4 Seater: 5,000 per month.

Normally, to get admission into an MBA programme at Xavier stitute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, candidates must have completed their 12th. However, achieving 60% in 12th class is not a factor for getting admissions at XISS Ranchi as the minimum score required varies depending on the specific entrance exams (like CAT or CMAT). Candidates willing to opt for PGDM course must get ready for the admission process at XISS Ranchi after CAT results are released. Admission at XISS Ranchi consist of several stages wherein it first release its cutoffs for the MBA courses. After that, students were invited to appear for Written Ability, GD and PI rounds. Then after, institutes shortlist candidates based on their merit results. It is advised for the candidates to keep track of their results. Further, they need to prepare in advance for the GD/PI rounds. Also, they must keep track of the schedule to avoid any rush.

Ranchi accepts CAT scores for management programmes, the upcoming 2023-25 batch cutoff will be released soon after CAT results. In 2022 for 2022-2024 batch, CAT eligible cutoff was 60 for HR, 25 for PGDM-RM, 35 (Percentile) for PGDM-FM 35 percentile, and for the XAT also, cutoff was 60.
