National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, SAS Nagar admissions are mainly entrance-based. Also known as NIPER SAS Nagar or NIPER Mohali, it is a public pharmaceutical research institute established in 2007. In 2019, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked NIPER SAS Nagar 3rd in pharmaceutical studies. The institute offers admission to programmes at the PG and doctoral levels. offers programmes such as MPharm, MS (Pharm), MBA (Pharm) and MTech (Pharm) at PG level. Steps for NIPER SAS Nagar Admission Process 2025
To get admission into the NIPER SAS Nagar, students must fulfil the admission criteria and go through a multi-step admission process. This includes appearing for the institute-level test, followed by PI and other selection rounds. Selected students can then proceed accordingly. The application process is carried out online. No, getting direct admission to the M.Tech course of NIPER Mohali is not possible. NIPER Mohali offers entrance-based admission to all its courses, including an MTech. Aspirants are required to appear for the NIPER JEE exam conducted for centralised admission process across all NIPERs. Further, it is compulsory for aspirants to appear for GPAT/GATE/NET/any other National Fellowship to be eligible for admission to all master's programmes at NIPERs.
