Through NIPER JEE counselling 2024, a total of 1050 Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) and 180 PhD seats will be filled in seven NIPER institutes located in Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Hajipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Rae Bareli and S.A.S Nagar.Pharm Without GPAT - State Level Entrance Examinations. Candidates who did not score well in the GPAT exam can apply through state-level examination. Various states conduct their own pharmacy entrance examination to offer M. No, getting direct admission to the M.Tech course of NIPER Mohali is not possible. NIPER Mohali offers entrance-based admission to all its courses, including an MTech. Aspirants are required to appear for the NIPER JEE exam conducted for centralised admission process across all NIPERs. Further, it is compulsory for aspirants to appear for GPAT/GATE/NET/any other National Fellowship to be eligible for admission to all master's programmes at NIPERs. Additionally, aspirants must meet the course-specific eligibility criteria prescribed by the institute.

NIPER JEE is the accepted entrance exam for M.Tech admission at NIPER Mohali. M.Tech aspirants must apply and appear for NIPER JEE, which is conducted by NIPER Guwahati. The application form for the same is available on the official NIPER Guwahati website. The two-hour exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) under two sections. Section A comprises 25% questions which are based on General English, Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge etc. Section B comprises 75% of the total questions which are based on the syllabi of BPharm and PG degrees (MSc) in the relevant fields.

In order to take MS admission at NIPER Mohali, candidates are required to appear for the NIPER JEE conducted by NIPER Guwahati. The entrance exam schedule for 2025 is yet to be released. However, based on the previous years' trends, the application process for NIPER JEE starts around the last week of April. It is expected to continue till May. The exam will be held in June (tentative).
