NIPER - The excellence of pharma.

Placements: Placements are excellent. Students who want to improve their skills and gain knowledge will get proper placement and guidance from this institution. It is one of the best institutes in India considering the placements of students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructural facilities of our college are excellent. I think very few institutions have this type of infrastructure across India. The institute is comparable to various institutions in aboard as well. The campus is eco-friendly.

Faculty: One of the best faculty members from the pharmaceutical field in India are working in NIPER Mohali. You may not get better faculty than this in any other institution in India. You can explore yourself under the guidance of proper guides. Experts and industrial personals are working in the institute for the betterment of students.

Other: NIPER Mohali ranked 1st in the 2017 MHRD NIRF ranking. The institute has every facility which any top-rated institution should have for the betterment of pharmaceutical students.

Good place to flourish because of resources and faculty. But, huge scope to improve on placements.

Placements: Overall placements range from 40 to 60 percent. However, placements in MBA department is more than 90 percent. Salary ranges from 3.5 lacs to 12 lacs with average of about 5 lacs. Major companies including Novartis, GSK, IMS, Dr. Reddy and other MNCs and Indian companies recruit every year. Internship is allowed for MBA graduates only and stipend varies between 8 thousand to 30 thousand. Placement cell is not active and have huge scope of improvement.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is one of the institutes asset. Infrastructure includes AC classrooms, huge labs with sufficient laboratory equipments and reagents, hostels, computer centre, library, Wi-Fi, ambulance, gym, playground, cafeteria, swimming pool and many other. I did not faced issue with infrastructure. Food available from hostel is palatable and of good quality.

Faculty: Faculty are really good and knowledgeable. However, there is crunch in academic staff. NIPER has managed to recruit renounced professors. Despite of difficulty to find skilled professors in India. Very few professors actually have industries experience. This is a real challenge as the bride between academia and industry is increasing at NIPER Several guest lectures are being vinducted for benefits of students Trivial teaching methods are followed including power points and blackboard teaching Student to faculty ratio is around 10:1 Course curriculum could be.

Other: NIPER is a great place for persons who are active in event organising and entertainment lovers as there are annual college festivals, dance competitions, indoor and outdoor games and several other events will be organised.
