Only Central Government institute in Asia related to Sugar Industry.
Placements: Placement record of year 2017 is more that 100%. Many students got 2 job offers. The package range of selected students is 2 to 4 Lac. I also got a 2 job offers. In my senior batch the placement record is more than 95%.27 students selected out of 28 in my senior batch.
Infrastructure: A well furnished labs related to sugar available, Wi-Fi is available in only college not in hostel but a lab is available in hostel where you can do Your internet. A fully centralised library available where all the books available related to sugar. For sports 2 badminton court, basketball court,2 volleyball court, cricket ground and Gym for workout available. Every classroom equipped of projector and smart board. Food quality is good in canteen but not good in hostel mess. Hostel rooms are good all students gets single room. No.
Faculty: All the teachers have good knowledge and most of them are professors. They are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Both theoretical and practical methods are used for teaching. Student to teacher ratio is 10:1. I think that if you interested in sugar industry then definitely take admission.
