Nazareth Margoschis College Review.

Placements: The placement drives are very rare. Only a few companies come for placements and are often small startups. Icanio Technologies and Infotech are the companies that have come for placements so far. Only 2-3 students manage to get placed in these companies. Most of them choose a different career path or depend on off-campus interviews.

Infrastructure: The department has a lab facility along with an LED projector installed. The lab also has hubs to provide Internet connectivity. About 60 percent of the computers are connected to the Internet. The college has one common library, and there's a separate library in the Department of Computer Science. The quality of food in the hostel is very poor and is often not served on time. The canteen only has limited options on its menu. Many games like cricket, football, volleyball, and athletics are played by many in the college.

Faculty: The teachers are well-talented and motivating. They often make use of projector technologies to help students understand the concepts well. They regularly make students present seminars to improve their self-confidence. The course curriculum is 80 percent relevant. Yes, it surely helps one to be industry-ready. The semester exams are often easily passable. However, most students fail to do so.

Other: This course promises jobs at well-known IT firms all around the globe. Students with a Computer Science degree are preferred by IT firms. Replacing some irrelevant topics and adding trending technologies can improve this course. Several fests, including Christmas, Pongal, and Sports Day, are celebrated in the college. Scholarships include several central government schemes like SC, ST scholarships and Minority scholarships, and Tamil Nadu state government schemes like Tamil Pudhalvan and RTE for women are also provided.
