Madras Christian College (MCC) offers 70 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the disciplines of Science, Commerce, and Arts through the full-time, on-campus mode. It offers 17 streams under the aided stream department, and there are 16 streams under the self-financed category. MCC also offers a range of UG and PG diploma courses, and certificates. Besides this, the college constitutes the School of Continuing Education that offers several Job Oriented Skill/ Career Development Courses that can be pursued alongside the regular degrees, diplomas, and certificate courses. The School extends a range of diplomas, internship courses, PG diplomas, and other short courses.

MCC has collaborations with more than 30 foreign universities that provide both student and faculty foreign exchange programs. Besides this, the College constitutes the Institute for Administrative Services Coaching that provides coaching for various competitive exams, including UPSC, TNPSC, NET & SET, SSC, and Banking.

MCC Chennai accepts applications for all the courses through the online mode. Candidates for most of the MCC Chennai courses are selected basis the merit in the last qualifying examination. The College also conducts an entrance exam for MCA admissions. The college provides various merit-based scholarships for meritorious students under both self-financed and aided streams.

Our college is good in terms of education.

Placements: Our college provides few research and other job opportunities. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 25,000 per month. They are hiring students who speak Tamil. Our college provides good job opportunities. The top role offered is a teacher.

Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Labs have all the equipment. We do experiments. They are old and outdated. Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college. Our college has classrooms and libraries. The library has all the necessary books.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good and well-qualified. Many professors are alumni of prestigious organisations with many years of experience. The course curriculum is very good as it gets updated from time to time with NET and JRF exams. Semester exams are held in our college.

Other: Our campus is spacious. Our college is spread over a huge area. Our college has greenery. Many events and fests are held in our college.

Our college provides good faculty members.

Placements: The placement cell provided placements to students in MNCs with high salary packages. Students attended placements in the 2nd and 4th semesters which had practice sessions that prepared students for campus interviews conducted in the 3rd semester. Around 70% of students get placed if they don't have any arrears.

Infrastructure: Hostel consisted of a bed, shelf, and chair. Every student got a single room in the hostel. It had 199 rooms. Food served in the mess was tasty. Hostel fee was Rs.19,500 for a year including food.

Faculty: Faculty members in every department were experienced and knowledgeable. They taught students very well using new methods. Semester exams were based on books that were lengthy but not difficult. Students need to work a bit hard to get good marks.

It is the best college for students.

Placements: The placement cell was active. Placements were very good. Many top recruiting companies visited our college for recruitment. The average salary package offered was 15 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms were very good. In each hostel room, two students could accommodate easily. The food served in the canteen was better. The menu was also changed weekly.

Faculty: All teachers were very good. They were well qualified. The teaching quality was better. The course curriculum was relevant. Semester exams were conducted very well.

MCCians and ex MCCians are called Gentlemen and Ladies of MCC with the whole meaning.

Placements: There is a high percentage of placements. Top companies like Infosys, TCS, and other well known companies hire our students. Not just placements, the placement cell conducts various drives for internships with stipends as well. Students have a huge access to the cell. They can easily know the updates.

Infrastructure: We have computer laboratory in our college and library with free WIFI for students to access online sites. They also have installed Wi-Fi in canteen to facilitate easy online payments. There are 6 separate halls (hostels in MCC) with 3 for girls and 3 for boys.

Faculty: Since the college is autonomous, the faculty members of each department makes sure the students are updated to the technology and facts. The syllabus and exams are completely handled by the college authorities. The exams can be dealt with ease by tackling the internal exams.

Other: The people who entered the college have never regretted taking the decision of choosing the college. There will always be an event happening in the college.

It is a good place for your needs.

Placements: Only a handful of students were placed. Others opted for M.Sc. and other streams. Some don't even have jobs. The highest salary offered was about Rs. 25,000 per month. Zoho was the top recruiting company. One or two internships were offered. Top roles offered were lab assistants or other posts that were totally unrelated to the field.

Infrastructure: We had very good classrooms. The campus was huge. We got many facilities, like a gym, hostel, library, etc. Food and everything else is fine.

Faculty: Teachers were very knowledgeable, but they were egoistic. Some professors were good. The course curriculum was very relevant. Exams range from easy to moderate. We need to learn what they teach in class.

Other: The campus experience was very good. One should only aspire to join this campus if he or she wants to enjoy campus life.
