The total tuition fee for BE ranges between INR 10 lakh and INR 15 lakh as per an unofficial source. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. 

Admission to BE is based on KCET score. The college also provides admission through Management Quota for BE course based on merit. BE is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum aggregate for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination. Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate in each subject is required for Management Quota.

When it comes to placements, both NITTE Meenakshi and New Horizon college offer decent placements every year. Academy:-The academic performance of both the colleges are almost the same. However CS IS, EC and EEE branch are good at Acharya. In new horizon I CS and IS are good as per my knowledge. Affiliation:- Both the colleges are affiliated to VTU and are approved by the AICTE. But Acharya is also accredited by the NBA. Acharya wins here due to NBA.
