BBA in Banking Management - Batch of 2025

You'll like the college at first after seeing its campus and functions.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges if your CRL is higher than 1 lakh in JEE. Only 20% of our students are placed in BBA programs at our college. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Almost 35-40% of students get internships. The top role offered is the manager.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are available, but there is no Wi-Fi available. Facilities in the hostel are very average. Regardless of the hostel, I would recommend taking a PG. The food served in the hostel mess is not good, and you don't want to eat food in the mess. The grounds for sports are useless.
Faculty: Few teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They know how to teach. The semester exams are useless. From my personal experience, the class exams are like having your phone on while you are writing your exam. You can't understand what they teach.
Other: I chose this course because I liked the management of businesses. I guess this course must focus more on practical skills than theoretical skills. If you want to learn, this college is not suitable to join.

Over-all good for an average student.
Placements: More than 50% of students is placed in my course. And I am not sure about the highest and the lowest package. More than 300 companies are recruiting for my course. Top roles offered in my course is CEO, human resource manager, company secretary, marketing manager etc.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for student use. They provide only 35mb for 1 day for students. Wi-Fi is available for only teachers and office use. And the library is well furnished. And my hostel facility is over all average. The quality of food and canteen is also average.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. In this course if you study seriously than you are eligible for industry work. And you also able to set your own business and startups. My college also provide fund for your business if your idea is good.

It is a good university with good facilities and average placements.
Placements: Currently, I am in the second year of BBA. In my batch, this is the first time that many students took admission in BBA. The college provides internships during 4th or 5th semester. Otherwise, you can find an internship on your own too. Currently, 10-12 students got internships in TenHard Publishing during their 4th-5th semester. According to the seniors who are in 3rd year or those that already graduated, the placements are quite average. The college does assist students in placements, but for the management department, the companies are very limited. If your skills and knowledge are good, then you might get a chance to get placed. The companies that often come for recruitment are Bajaj, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, HDFC Bank etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well maintained and is huge. The management block is really big, and the cricket ground in front of it adds a very calming beauty effect. There's gym, swimming pool, basketball court, and other sports amenities too. Classrooms are good with projectors and fans. There are many lecture theatres as well. The library is medium in size, but it has a variety of curriculum books. One can study there peacefully for hours. The hostel food is above average, and the rooms are good. Basic amenities are provided. The hostel timing is strictly maintained. It's 60,000 per person for a 4-seater non-AC room. The price might increase now. Near the management block, there's a restaurant named Le Gabriel (LG), where the food is reasonably priced, and students can enjoy their time there. There are many other restaurants, cafes, stationery shops, etc., on the university campus. NIMS hospital is present on the campus itself. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are quite knowledgeable and helpful. They assist the students personally if needed. The management is not helpful though. So, the students do face some problems at times. The curriculum is relevant. We get to choose electives from the 3rd semester onwards. The course helps the students to pursue a career in the management field and others. The semester exams are moderate. If someone studies well, then they will score good marks, and if not, then they might fail. In our batch, everyone passed 1st year with no backlogs.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue MBA. So, I thought BBA would be good to gain knowledge about MBA. Although the curriculum of our university is good but I would prefer that timely results should be distributed and management should work better. International student exchange programs should take place. In the first year, I got a 50% scholarship, so I needed to pay 25,000 as tuition fees (originally, it is Rs 50,000 per year). The fee structure for 2020 is the 50,000 per year (based on scholarship percentage, the fees will be reduced), and the transportation fee is 40,000 per year (I take university transport to commute), club activities fee is 6,000 per year, the examination fee is 7,000 per semester, and the hostel fee is 6,000 per person for 4 seater non-AC (the price will increase based on the number of seaters), the mess fee is 15,000 per year (may vary), and the admission fee is 2,000 (may vary). Events and extracurricular activities are held usually.

Other: I joined NMIMS University because it has a good reputation as a management college. The course is good, content is regularly updated and they focus on overall development of the student. However, I've had a lot of trouble dealing with the college management on multiple issues. The management is rude, uncooperative and extremely slow. I missed my MBA application deadlines because they failed to give me my transcripts in time. I had to write to the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor and immediately next day my transcripts were ready, but by then it was too late. They simply don't care about the students after they graduate. Many students applying for post-graduation courses faced difficulty for the results being delayed.

Hi, Getting a University transfer (changing university with a course in continuity) is difficult and a rare option as compared to the change of colleges under the same University. Definitely, the value of such a course is always questionable and may lead to identity issues for the course recognition
