A developing NIT in the northeast region.
Placements: The placements were quite decent in our college. The placements for CSE and ECE were good, like 100% placements are done. The average package is 7.2 LPA, and the highest package is like 42 LPA. Many companies like Amazon and Genpact were hiring our college students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that impressive as compared to other colleges. The college management was trying to develop the college; make sure to adjust for the infrastructure and the food in the hostel. Wi-Fi will be provided in the campus and the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are the best part of our college. They were all Ph.D. holders and also shared their great knowledge with us. They were super supportive. They make us gain knowledge in subjects deeply. You should get a minimum of 40 percent of marks for passing in a subject.

It’s a beautiful college in the North East.
Placements: The placements scenarios at my college is quite decent. The year before the last, one of my seniors got into Amazon and a bunch of others got more than 20 LPA as their CTC. The placements for CSE and ECE branch are almost 100%, and for other branches combined, it is 70-75%. The internship opportunities are quite less here but you can apply individually.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is just ok, it requires a lot of development as it has suffered a lot in the rainy season. Other than that, the college provides each and every thing required by the students in the classrooms as well in the labs. There are medical facilities available in the college.
Faculty: The teachers in my college are just amazing, they are all well qualified and share a great knowledge with the students. The course curriculum is up to date in my knowledge, and if you learn the subjects properly, it’ll definitely make you job ready. There are 8 semester exams held in total.

Finally, it is an average college in India. Except food everything will be fine.
Placements: 100 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is 47 LPA, and the lowest and minimum packages offered in my course are 8 LPA. Infosys, Google, Microsoft, Apple, TCS, Teach Mahindra, etc. are top companies recruiting companies for my course. All the students get internships in my course.
Infrastructure: There are very average facilities and infrastructure available for our department. We can get free wifi, good labs, ventilator classes, good classrooms, and a and a library in our department. There are many books in our department library. Those books are very useful for our recording department. Hostel facilities are not and not bad. The mess food is average quality. There will be canteen. Average medical facilities: an ambulance will be available for you. We have a very huge playground. We can play many games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are very qualified and knowledgeable also. They can give us the best teaching quality. Our course department faculty are more supportive of us in our department. The semester exam difficulty will be above average. And the pass percent in the semester exam is 40 marks out of 100.
Other: I am interested in this course. And now our department is also very good. We can do excellent labs and projects, and these are the best things about the delay course.

Good college to choose but not the only option.
Placements: I was enrolled in the ECE branch; the placements in the branch are not up to the mark if you select core as your major; it's better for you to choose GATE and go for higher studies. The highest package is 47 LPA, and the average package was 9.8 LPA. Amazon, Genpact, and other companies are there.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not good. There is a lot more to develop. The classrooms are okay but not good to study in the rainy season. Accommodation in a hostel is the best, but the facilities are low but have good security. The quantity of food is good, but the quality should be increased.
Faculty: The teaching faculty was good and was always available to us. The semester exams were not tough but also easy; they were moderate. You need to get at least 40% of the marks in every subject to pass and should be regular in the classes because attendance is also included in your academics.

Disappointed with the infrastructure, absence of clubs, fest and facilities being provided.
Placements: At NIT Manipur, almost 70-80% of the students get placed. The highest package in 2023 was 47 LPA which was given Amazon. In 2023, the average package was around 9.5 LPA. Companies like Discover and Edfora gave packages worth 27 LPA. Some mass recruiters like Intellipat, Tata Elxsi, Reliance Jio and L&T ECC also visited the campus recruiting a number of students with an average package of 7 to 8 LPA. The placements ratio is quite good here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. It is below average. The campus is big but has not been utilized properly. Wi-Fi is provided in the hostel 24X7. Talking about the classrooms, it is not that great but still it’s decent. Projectors have been installed in all the classrooms. There is one library in the academics block where around 20-30 students can study at a time. Atmosphere is quite good and there are plenty of books available for our reference. Quality of food is again not that great but decent. Canteens are there in every hostel. For medical services, an ambulance is available for us 24x7. There is one very good playground where we can play all the sports we want. It is quite big and good.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and well qualified. They are always ready to help us and solve our doubts. There are many teachers who have graduated from IITs. Their teaching is quite decent. The syllabus being taught is a little old (that is same in all the colleges). It won't make anyone completely industry ready but it might help a lot in the future. The semester exams are not that difficult. It is on the moderate to difficult side. Almost 80-85% students clear the exams without any backlogs.
Other: If you wish to participate in fests, cultural activities and clubs, this college is not for you. There are no clubs and there is no gym inside the college. Scholarships like NSP (National Scholarship Portals) are being provided by the central government.

Nice college for B.Tech.
Placements: I am enrolled in the Computer Science and Engineering branch; the placement record of my branch is the highest, i.e., 100%; the average package is 10 LPA. A good number of students get internships in the 6th semester or in the 7th semester. Last year, the highest package was 47 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is in very bad condition, with a very small number of buildings that are occupied. Also, the water is logged on campus in the rainy seasons. The food quality in the mess is not at all good. There is a Wi-Fi facility in the hostel.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are really good at our college. The curriculum is updated with new technologies. In each semester, there are at least 2 tests, one midterm and one endterm exam for each subject and at least 40 marks to pass out of the total.

NIT Manipur offers good infrastructure and facilities to its students.
Placements: 40–50% of the students get successfully placed at our college. In this course, students are getting average placements at NIT Manipur. The average package offered at the college was between 4 and 9 LPAs. Many big IT firms, such as Accenture, Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Infosys, Sprinkle, etc., visit our college for placements. Students were also getting internships at MIT Manipur.
Infrastructure: NIT Manipur has really good infrastructure for our course. Students were provided with all the necessary facilities at this college. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, computer labs, hostel, sports and all other facilities were given to the students and properly managed by the college management. The food in the canteen and mess was good to eat at an affordable price.
Faculty: The faculty of the college was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about our course. All the teachers were experienced in the teaching field. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not that hard to pass. Students were getting all the help and support from the teachers.

Absolutely good for placements but if it's about college life .
Placements: It is an average NIT so, it has an placement. Talking about the percentage of students placed so according to 2023 placement report it has a 75 % Overall placement. Further, if about branch specific so it's 100% for CSE, 85% for ECE, 75% for ee and <60% for other branches. If we look at the average package it was 9 llpa while the highest is 47 LPA by Microsoft.
Infrastructure: The worst thing about this college is lack of infrastructure. They have bare minimum infrastructure required. And trust not going to change in upcoming 5 years. They have temporary structure of tin shades and it cases lot of problems during rainy seasons.
Faculty: It is good and is the positive side of the college which is the reason for it being at 95 th position in NIRF ranking 2023. 65% of the professors are local and they speak Manipur, English and broken Hindi. Anyways language is not going to be barrier.
