NIT Manipur NIRF Rankings 2025 are out. NIT Manipur has been ranked under the band '151-200' under the 'Engineering' category by the NIRF Ranking 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- The IIT JAM 2026 Round 1 counselling registration and choice filling process for admission to the MSc course has now closed. The first admission list will be announced on May 25, 2026.
- The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for admission to BE/BTech courses.
- The GATE COAP 2026 seat allotment results for round 1 have been released for admission to ME/MTech/PhD programmes. Candidates can choose to accept & freeze, retain & wait, or reject & wait by May 13, 2026 (till 9 AM).
- The JEE Main 2026 session 2 result has been announced on the official website for admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses.
NIT Manipur - National Institute of Technology Courses & Fees 2025
There are a total of 16 courses offered at by the institute. These courses are offered across fields of Engineering, etc. They are available at the UG and PG levels. These courses include B.E. / B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech and M.Sc, etc. Admission to some of the programmes is subject to merit in the last qualifying exam and for some courses, admission is entrance-based. Clearing the JEE Main exam in first attempt is not a difficult task. Several students clear JEE Main while in class 12. One thing that makes it easy to clear JEE Main with class 12 is that students are in regular touch of most JEE syllabus. To score good marks in JEE Main in the first attempt, it is advised that you study class 11 and 12 topics thoroughly, clear all the concepts and solve mock test papers. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.
Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 21895 and closing rank was 29644 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 30830 and 44910. Admission to Computer Science Engineering in NIT Manipur is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
The eligible students must be passed in BSc with at least 65% aggregate. Also, students need to qualify written test of the institute for NIT Manipur MSc admission.
