6 years ago NIT Warangal gives closing rank for SC category as 800 and fir general 1200 for a course. So this 800 is AIR or category rank.

There are very less chance for getting NIT-W with chemical or Meta branch.

If you won't be able to get the NIT-Trichy, then you should opt for the MNIT-Allahabad, as that is the second best NIT in all the NITs after NIT-Trichy.

I'd prefer you to opt for the NIT Warangal for chemical engineering as in the NIT you can get better job opportunities and exposure to the outer world which is not so in Anna University, as NIT has good tie-ups with many MNCs.
6 years ago I can get into NIT trichy by dasa qouta but the fee is much higher similarly I can also get into NIT Warangal through ciwg, whats best?

NIT Trichy is best when compared to NITW.It also has good placements though the fees is high you will get good knowledge.So i suggest you to prefer this college.

Yes, you can get NIT, Warangal (NITW) for B.Tech in Civil Engineering but for that you have to wait till the last round of the counselling.
