Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2028

Simple, for my course, don’t join if you want to do research or something in the field of science.
Placements: The first batch of our course started in 2021, so they are still studying in the 4th year and have not yet graduated. However, those who left the college in the 3rd year have the option to exit and receive a three-year degree. Some are placed in Byju’s, some in local institute colleges as lecturers, some have gone into software, and some are currently pursuing Ph.D. (I am talking about the whole college). Mostly, everyone will get an internship here if you have the necessary skills and knowledge. The average package is 15 LPA, and the highest for M.Sc. students is nearly 21 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities are okay, like you can sustain here freely with no problem, but in the hostels, you may face Wi-Fi and hot water issues. The labs are very good, and the library is too good, but they won’t allow you to study for more time, as it closes early every day at 4. The classrooms are small, but you can adjust, and there are some smart boards and one projector-based classroom; they are fine. The main problem in this college is the food. There is no canteen, and the mess is worse. Medical facilities and sports are very good; you can play any game.
Faculty: Not all the teachers are qualified; they are like professors, but they don’t even know how to teach. However, some are good researchers. I don’t think our course will make you industry-ready. Exams in this college are not that hard; okay, you can read one day before and pass, but you need to listen in most classes, at least for attendance (80% criteria). You need a good CGPA to participate in extracurricular activities.
Other: I chose this course to do research and to become a professor, but I don’t know if I can get much knowledge from this, though I am trying to. Professors are not that helpful. You have to do it on your own, and they need to improve this course to be more practical instead of only theoretical. Coming to events and fests, here we have SPRING SPREE, a decent fest, but named as South India’s biggest tech fest. The crowd of your fellows is mostly good. The campus is so good and big; you can travel every day with no restrictions for boys and girls.

I am satisfied with this branch. All branches have good faculty members.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students were placed every year. The highest package was 38 LPA, the lowest package was 6 LPA, and the average package was around 14 to 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies like HUL, GAIL, Reliance Industries, Tata Chemical, Tata Steel, etc. Exactly, I don't know what the percentage but nearly 85 to 90 students got internships out of 110 students. NIT Warangal generally provides internship opportunities through various companies. Top roles are like analyst, software development engineer, management roles, and generalist roles.
Infrastructure: NIT Warangal campus features academic buildings, research centres, and a central library, along with well-equipped labs and classrooms, and also has Wi-Fi access. Students have access to residential facilities, dining halls. The hostel facilities at NIT Warangal are generally considered decent. The quality of food in the mess is average. Basic medical facilities are available, including an on-campus health center.
Faculty: In general, the faculty at NIT Warangal are well qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Many professors as approachable and encouraging. Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant. The course curriculum is generally considered relevant and industry-focused focused Semister exams at NIT WARANGAL are considered moderately difficult. Every student can get 80 to 85 percent easily.
Other: I have too much interest in chemistry. The one more thing in NIT Waranagal's chemical engineering branch was too good compared to all other NITs.

If you do not want CSE and mechanical, don't come to this college.
Placements: The highest package offered in core is 20 lacs per annum. The average package is around 12 LPA. BPCL, L&T, Tata motors, etc. are the top companies. Approximately, all the student get internships. At NITW, 90% students from mechanical were placed which is a good image for the college, and in CSE there is almost 100% placements rate.
Infrastructure: Some hostels are good, but in the 2nd year, 7th and 3rd block hostels are too bad. Wi-Fi is good and the library is also fine. The food is not so good. Sport facilities are better than other NITs, we have one stadium where you can play cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are not so helpful. In 2 years I met only one professor who was encouraging. Their teaching quality is average. I think it's relevant, some courses make the students industry ready. There is an average grading system at NITW, so you have to obtain above average marks to get good CGPA.
Other: I like the automotive industry, so I decided to study mechanical branch and this course gives you a practical way of thinking. Some theory subjects are there which I think are not important. Events are spring-spree and tech fest.

Good placements, but the environment is still not that great.
Placements: In the latest session, my percentage was 81%, which is quite good, with an average of 15.6 LPA. The top recruiters were from PSUs and core companies, including Honda, among others. 12% of students get internships, and the top role was a mechanical engineer.
Infrastructure: If I tell you about the 2nd-year hostel, it is quite good. It is called Block, which is very good in its natural habitat, full of greenery and birds chirping, making it a great experience. There is no Wi-Fi. Only LAN is provided for each student.
Faculty: The curriculum is very outdated and lacks practical things, mainly focusing on exams and classes. It could be good if they focussed more on practicals. As I said, it is difficult to get good grades because the grading system is relatively challenging.
Other: I chose it because it's a top NIT with a good average package. The best thing is the peaceful environment in our college. I think the fests and extracurricular activities could be improved, if they could change something.

It is informative, positive, and academically inclined.
Placements: In my course, everyone gets placed either on campus or off campus. We certainly get this here that we'll eventually get placed from this college. The highest package offered is 22 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. The average package ranges from 10-12 LPA in the mechanical course. As for the internships in the third year, it is quite competitive. Around 15 out of a batch of 140 students got internships in the third year. However, the certainty of getting it in the fourth year is really fair. Companies like Bajaj, Maruti Suzuki, ITC, and Tata Motors are regular here.
Infrastructure: We have access to LAN here in the hostels, along with Wi-Fi facilities inside the central library and some classrooms. Hostels are quite viable here. Some of them are in poor condition, but many of them are being renovated. Most of them have already been improved. Food here is more likely to be priced products. It is fairly made but lacks the North essence (for the North students).
Faculty: Teachers here are certainly qualified. Many teachers are IIT graduates, and some hold a degree from prestigious foreign universities. Some professors are really qualified, generous, and knowledgeable, with a lot to learn from. Some of them lack the sense of teaching. The course curriculum is centrally opted, but in some cases, it lacks modern requirements like artificial intelligence and modern-day software for designing. The level of toughness of the exams depends entirely upon the professors, and hence, the pass percentage.
Other: I qualified for this specific course through my rank in JEE Main, so I opted for it. I am to a certain level interested in Mechanical engineering, for it being a practical subject rather than switching code day and night on our PC, and we get hands-on experience. This, such as better software being taught in the college itself, would help a lot. The college organises two main fests, one technical named Technozian and the other cultural named Springs Spree. The campus is full of positive vibes and entirely surrounded by trees and greenery.

NIT Warangal - A legacy of excellence and innovation.
Placements: In our class, 115 students are there. My course is chemical engineering at our institute. The highest package is 38 LPA in chemical engineering. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oil companies such as Hindustan Petroleum and other companies like Oracle.
Infrastructure: NIT Warangal has excellent infrastructure for academic and hostel facilities. The institute provides well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, a central library with a vast collection of books and journals, and high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus. The department buildings are modern and well-maintained. Hostels are decent, with adequate facilities such as laundry, common rooms, and study space. The mess food quality is average, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available, but it could be improved. Canteen offers a variety of food choices at affordable prices. Medical facilities are available 24/7, including an on-campus health center.
Other: The campus life at NIT Warangal is vibrant, with cultural and technical fests like SpringSpree and Technozion offering great opportunities for extracurricular activities. The student crowd is diverse, making it a great place to learn and grow. The connectivity to the city is decent, with easy access to transport. Scholarships and financial aid options are available for deserving students, adding to the institution's inclusivity.
