Hi.The score you need depends entirely on which course you are aiming to pursue and the specific college or university you plan to apply to. Different programs and institutions have varying admission requirements. Here are general guidelines based on common paths for students with your subjects (pure science, psychology, home science, and English): For Admission to Top Universities/Competitive CoursesFor highly competitive courses like B.Sc. Psychology (Hons.), B.Sc. Home Science (Hons.), or top-tier Science programs at central universities (like Delhi University or through the CUET exam), you should aim for a high percentage, ideally 90% or above.Competitive Exams: If applying to central or state universities in India, you will likely need to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Your score in CUET will be the primary factor for admission. For General AdmissionsFor admission to state-level colleges or general university programs, a score of 60% to 75% is usually the safe range to meet minimum eligibility criteria. Subjects You Can Pursue with Your CombinationYour subject combination is diverse and opens up several possibilities:Science Stream: B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Biotechnology, Microbiology.Psychology: B.A. or B.Sc. in Psychology (a very popular choice with your background).Home Science: B.Sc. in Home Science.Humanities/Arts: B.A. in English (Hons.), Sociology, etc.Allied Health: Nursing, Physiotherapy (may require NEET or specific entrance exams).
