- Library
NICO has a well stocked library with over 1500 books and a separate section on DVDs. In addition to an excellent collection of books on fims, televison and communication theories, the library also has a good collection of biographies, autobiographies and novels.
- Hostel
The hostellers are provided with a cot, cupboard, study table and chair. Every hostel has a solar heated water facility, common telephone, TV room, reading room/library, visitors lounge, water coolers, generators etc. the hostels also have facilities for indoor and outdoor games.

The campus has a 24000 sq. ft Indoor Sports Complex, which houses a floodlit basketball court, four shuttle badminton courts, a tennis court, a volleyball court, and a throwball court. Multi-purpose playgrounds with a running track is also available on the campus

- Labs
A multi-camera television studio equipped with the latest equipment; an iMac Editing Studio for audio and video editing, graphic designing and web designing; license to Adobe Creative Cloud so students get to work on the latest software in the well-equipped Multimedia Lab are some of the facilities the Institute offers. The Institute has also added a new color grading studio to its ever-expanding infrastructure. The Color grading studio houses DaVinci mini and micro panels for exclusive color processing and color grading of photographs and videos.
