I'd rate it a solid 8/10.

Placements: Around 80% of students passing out in 2025 have been placed in BCA, and the packages offered to them are decent and fair enough for a fresher. For internships, you will be offered opportunities in the 3rd year onwards, and that will be very crucial for growth in the future. The stipend offered is decent.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average. The buildings are well-made, but the E block for engineering courses is still under construction in some places. There are 2 labs, both of which are very decent and work well. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, though it might not work sometimes, but most of the time it’s just fine. As for the canteen, it is very hygienic, the food is above average, and the pricing is very fair. For sports, there are 2 volleyball courts, a badminton court, and most indoor games. There is a full 11-side football ground.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. The HOD is somewhat friendly but might be strict when needed. The teaching quality is good, and the course curriculum is updated to the latest standards. Teachers are always open to curiosity and will help whenever needed. The latest curriculum is updated to make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite difficult but can be passed with some effort.

Placements: BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) is an undergraduate degree program that focuses on computer science and its applications. The course typically covers topics such as programming languages, data structures and algorithms, computer network, database management systems, web development, and software engineering. The BCA course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for a career in the IT industry, including software development, web development, and database management. The program usually lasts for three years and provides a strong foundation for further studies or a career in the tech industry.

Infrastructure: College has a big area of a college and the course hostel facility is very good. Canteen a nice. There is a very clean canteen and many of the people eat in the canteen. The hostel facility is very good.

Faculty: Faculty members are very kind. It helps to dictate our future and directs how we return to our future. Exams happen every 6 months, and the exam will be very easy. The semester is not difficult. The passing percentage will be very high in the semester. Faculty members are very kind and they have to guide our future.

Other: In this college the fest is very good. Event is very good. The campus will be very long and very good. The campus has 50 acres of land. There is a many connectivity to 5 KM from the railway station, campus surroundings, and the shop. There will be many scholarships based on personal performance per month.

It has really good faculty members and administration.

Placements: In our batch, 70 students are present. I am in the final year of this course. This course has served me very well, and interviews are being done, so students get recruited according to it. Top good companies recruit students from the college, like Apollo, Tata, Lenskart, etc. The percentage of students who get internships and placements is pretty decent.

Infrastructure: I have not opted for the hostel, but some of my friends have their own hostel and take equally good responsibility for it, and with that, we can also get hostels outside the campus with good facilities and food options. Here, many local students can also help us as per our requirements.

Faculty: Faculty members are pretty decent and friendly. They are always ready to help us, and we can reach out to them accordingly. Semester exams are all about our studies. If we study the whole year, it will be easy for us, but if we study one day before, then it may be a little harder. Overall, everything is pretty decent and good.

Other: I am from the passing-out batch. I have seen many things here, and everything is really good here. Campus surroundings are decent, and the nature is good. Fests and many occasions are organised by the college.

The campus and the experience I gained overall are good, and the faculty is supportive.

Placements: 99% students are placed in our college with good packages. The highest package is 12 LPA in BCA 2024. The average package is 7 LPA in the BCA department, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Top companies that visit for placement are Wipro, Amazon, Deloitte, etc. I like the college.

Infrastructure: The hostels are quite good. The computer lab is also good with AC, and different computer programs have different labs. The college canteen food is really good as compared to hostel food in other places. The college has many extracurricular activities, and the campus is great.

Faculty: The faculty members are really very good and supportive. They help each and every student in studies. Curricular activities like sports, yoga, fests, and Blitz are celebrated in the college. NSHM makes their students industry-ready. The passing percentage is 40 in the college.

Other: The best thing is the campus and the faculty members who support students in their studies. The fests are full of great activities.

A good campus life that helps you grow.

Placements: Almost 70 percentage of the students got placed but with lower packages. Highest package offered was 4 lpa while lowest package was 1 lpa. Top roles offered are : data analyst, consultant or Business analyst. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Extra marks, EY, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostel and all are pretty good. There's wifi available in both hostel and canteens. Labs, classrooms are all well equipped. The food quality is also pretty good, there's a game area above the canteen where students can play lots of indoor games while there's a playground beside canteen area where you can play outdoor games.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful here. And the course curriculum is theory based. You need to work on your own skills to get industry ready. Semester exams are easy as it is MAKAUT based. You will get the passing percentage of you pay attention to the curriculum. To get good scores, you can study hard.

Other: Everything is good to go, you just have to focus and work on your own skills.

Placements: In our batch at NSHM Durgapur, the placement rate for our BCA program stands at an impressive 100%. The highest package offered this year is 7LPA. The average package is 5 lacs, and the lowest is 4 lacs. The top recruiting companies for our course include Amazon, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Genpact, and EY. Additionally, 75% of students secured pre-placement offers (PPO) from our college during the internship. Notable companies offering internships to our students include those aforementioned as top recruiters. The top roles offered by these companies encompass a diverse range, including backend development, frontend development, data analysis, and SEO specializations.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course at NSHM Durgapur are commendable.
