Admission into NIAT is entrance based is through the NAT ExamThe best way to describe this is the NAT exam (Niat Assessment Test) is that its a scam.TLDR: it is a fake exam, just designed to get you hooked. No matter what marks you get, you will pass the exam. They make such a big deal about this thing, like it's some kind of magic filter that measures all kinds of talents. So, to try it out, we turned in a blank sheet of paper and got a score of 0. If this was an actual college, we would have been rejected instantly. But no, we got a call almost right away saying that we "qualified against fierce competition with outstanding marks" and even received a scholarship. The thing is, They don't care about your grades or your abilities; they just need an excuse to call you and get your parents to sign up for their program. All students who give the NAT exam qualify for it, since its just an excuse for them to start their next brainwashing phase. The manner in which they market the campus is even more appalling. They invite you to their office in Nanakramguda, which is this sleek corporate tower with tech firms all around it. They give you the impression that's where you'll be learning. But after you're impressed, they go behind and change their pitch, telling you that since they "don't have a ground," your actual learning will take place in colleges like Aurora or MRV, which are on the outskirts. They assure you it's the same thing, but it's a total bait-and-switch. You're not getting the high-tech corporate campus experience; you're getting the regular engineering college experience at a higher price point.Once they have you in the room, they use a pressure tactic that is honestly disgusting. After a dummy interview that everyone passes, they tell your parents that they have to pay ₹20,000 in the next 24 hours to "lock in" the scholarship. It's meant to make people panic and pay before they can go home and actually think about it. Once you pay that non-refundable fee, you are trapped. They know parents won't want to walk away after losing 20k.

The curriculum at Polaris School of Technology is fundamentally different from other new-age tech schools because it is designed around building engineers, not just training candidates. While many modern tech programs focus on short-term upskilling or interview preparation, Polaris follows a Work-Integrated B.Tech in Product Engineering, where academics and real-world engineering run in parallel from Day 1. Students don't “learn first and work later”, they code, build, test, deploy, and iterate on real systems throughout all four years. The curriculum is project-first, not exam-first. Instead of optimizing for marks, it optimizes for outcomes like system design ability, problem-solving, ownership, and production-ready skills. With 5,000+ hours of hands-on coding, internships starting in Year 1, and exposure to Bangalore's tech ecosystem, students gain industry instincts early, understanding constraints, trade-offs, and accountability through experience, not theory. Another key difference is depth and structure. Each year increases industry complexity, from core programming and web development to AI/ML, cloud, DevOps, and finally self-directed deep-tech builds like autonomous systems or generative AI. Learning happens in small, peer-driven cohorts, ensuring close mentorship and high standards
