Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject as optional subjects with the above-mentioned aggregate percentage in subjects taken together. The mentioned SC/ST percentage is for Madhya Pradesh residents. OBC candidates (except Creamy layer) of Madhya Pradesh can apply with 40%. Candidates completing 10+2 with grading system, should have grades equivalent to mentioned aggregate percentage. Candidates who had passed 10+2 with grace marks in any subject can also apply provided they have scored mentioned aggregate percenatge excluding grace marks. Result awaited student are also eligible on provisional basis.

For Lateral Entry-Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized board.
Candidates must have B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a subjects from a recognized board/ university with 50% are also eligible.

Counselling
Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in MP-PET / JEE. The Counselling is done in various phases: I Phase only PET students on the merit basis. II Phase PET + JEE students on the merit basis. III Phase PET+JEE+12th Board/Equivalent on merit basis. IV Phase Includes all students i.e. PET, JEE, 12th irrespective of the merit at College Level Counselling (CLC).
