Yes, you may get direct admission into PIET (Panipat Institute of Technology) for certain courses. The admission criteria of the institute consists of several criteria. For most of the courses, students are selected either on merit or entrance basis. Additionally, students need to participate in state or institute-level counselling as well depending on the course. The best college in Haryana.

Placements: I have completed my Diploma in 2015. I have attended 2 or 4 interviews. I got selected for the 1st round and got rejected in the final round. In our batch of almost 30 to 40 students, only two students got selected. So, the placements in our college were poor, but the college management said that the placements were excellent.

Infrastructure: PIET is a very good college in north Haryana. It is situated in Pattikalyana nearby Samalkha. Staff members were very good. All the facilities like library, classrooms, labs, games, etc., were good. Most of the times, I faced problems with the canteen because the food served was not good.

Faculty: Teachers were very good, and all the teachers were very helpful. They have good knowledge of their subjects. They were well-qualified. Teaching quality was good.

Other: All the events organised in the college were good.

It is the best college in NCR region.

Placements: Placements depend on different courses, but around 60% of the students get placed from college. The highest salary offered is 1 lac per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Jindal steels, which is one of the biggest steel manufacturers in steel industries, is the top recruiting company of our college. Our college provides practical knowledge and industrial visits to give exposure and industrial experience to students. In our course, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Around 85% to 90% of the students get internships.

Infrastructure: Our department is in C block, where facilities like air-conditioned rooms, labs, digital classrooms and Wi-Fi are provided. Everything is very good. Food served is like homemade food. Every sport is available on our campus. There are a total of 8 canteens in our college, with different varieties of food.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and experienced. None of the teachers is qualified less than M.Tech. Almost 80% of teachers are PhD holders. The course curriculum is relevant, and they take students for industrial visits to understand the working and functioning of industries. Industrial visits help in gaining practical knowledge and experience.

Other: I have chosen this course because it gives a lot of practical knowledge about machines and car engines. There is nothing much to improve on campus. Carbuncal is the best event of PIET.

The college is the best and most satisfying one.

Placements: Overall, there are top placements with the top facilities. The best recruiters prefer to reach here first. An environment of placement cell is also the best you can get. The top companies visit the campus regularly. Open campus placements is another positive on the campus. The students from other colleges can also get jobs here.

Infrastructure: The college has the best and excellent infrastructure. The stage of our college is the first thing I got impressed with. There are gym and auditorium on the campus. There is a world-class featured library, which is in the underground. A dustbin is placed at every corner is another good thing. Here, greenery is everywhere.

Faculty: Probably, the best faculty you could get all over. They are more like friends and family. They are supportive. The real gurus for your future are just here. We got an industry exposure. We get good support from faculty members here. The student to teacher ratio is 40:1.

Other: There are many curricular and co-curricular activities that even I can't count them all. Twice in a year, there are star nights on freshers and fest. There is a farewell function for a particular department. There is a quiz competition known as Quest.
