To get admission into Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), students need to fulfil the admission criteria of the desired programme. Students are selected either based on entrance score or merit in the last qualifying exam. Around 75% of the total seat intake if filled via HSTES counselling for BTech/ BTech LEET/ BPharm/ Diploma in ME/ Diploma in ME (LEET) and DPharm courses. Further, for MBA the institute accepts valid CMAT/ CAT scores. For admission to BBA, BCA/ BVoc (BFSI)/ MBA/MCA, students need to participate in the institute-level counselling. Once a seat is offered, selected candidates need to go through document verification and pay the admission fees.
For admissions to various courses is done by HSTES through counseling as per the Reservation Policy notified by the State Government of Haryana. Moreover, various courses offered by the institute have specific eligibility criteria. Yes, students who receive the MBA admissions offers from PIET are required to make payment of the fees prescribed by the institute. In general, at this stage, students are required to pay a one-time fee and the first installment of the tuition fees. As per the fee structure, the total tuition fees for MBA amounts to INR 1.83 lakh.

Yes, students enrolled in the PIET programmes do stand a chance to avail 100 percent scholarships. To do so, students must register and appear for the PIET QUEST Scholarship test conducted by the institute. Based on the scores obtained, students are awarded with different amounts of scholarships. The student who scores the highest marks is awarded a 100 percent tuition fee waiver.
