Review of Pocker Sahib Memorial Orphanage College.

Placements: Department-wise placements were good. In my opinion, the ISE department had at least 90% of placements annually. According to my notes, the lowest package was about 3 LPA, and the highest package was about 15 LPA. Compared to others, the placements were generally superior. There was a high placement policy at this college. Numerous businesses came to hire. Our course resulted in internships for 75% of students.

Infrastructure: Students at our college had access to dorms. Hostel provides large, well-furnished rooms with laundry. It had internet access in a cozy and tidy setting. They focused on providing students with wholesome and freshly prepared meals. The committed staff of instructors upheld order and guided students while they stayed at the hostel.

Faculty: The college’s faculty members were outstanding. They were helpful and always willing to lend a hand. The university regularly updated the course material, and the annual pass rate was 95%. Semester exams were challenging. Students became entrepreneurs as a result.

Placements: I have enrolled for B.A. History at the college. I completed my graduation last year. Being an Arts subject, placements are limited compared to professional courses. Even though many students, approximately 15–30% got placements as content associates and teachers at private schools, colleges, and private academies. Many have opted for higher studies and B.Ed. About 30–40% of students got internships at museums in Kerala. Some got internships at international museums and heritage centers. The highest package was 3.2 LPA, and the lowest was 1.4 LPA.

Infrastructure: History Department has a separate block under the Faculty of Humanities. Classrooms are smart-equipped with projectors and boards. The campus provides high-speed Wi-Fi. The library includes a dedicated section for the department. The canteen serves hygienic and affordable food. Medical aid is available in both hostels and academic blocks, with a hospital nearby. Hostels are secure and well-maintained. The college actively promotes sports, especially football.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and skilled in their professions. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is mainly decided according to the norms of Calicut University, which is relevant. Exams are conducted strictly to make students more aware of their studies. The passing percentage is always around 92%.

Other: I chose this course aiming to become a professor in the field. The course offers deep knowledge about various historical disciplines. The areas that need improvement are mainly the inter-university activities of the department. The college is crowded and offers extracurricular activities and scholarships.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure structure and standard facilities for students. There are smart classes, library computer lab, sports facilities, botanical garden. The college also have good and clean hostels for boys and girls. The canteen also provides a well quality food. Overall the college is quiet and calm.

Faculty: The college has well experienced and educated faculties. They are mostly friendly to students thereby minimizing the gap between students. Exams are led in standard way some students may face difficulty in exams but overall the college has good pass percentage.

Other: I chose this course because i love commerce. Nowadays commerce is emerging significantly higher, so many entrepreneurs are stepping to our modern world.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 80,000 per month. The lowest and average packages are offered in our course. Top recruiting companies of our course are IITs and IIMs. Almost 80% of students got internships from our course in IITs. The head of the department and professor are top roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, and all these facilities and infrastructure are available for our course or department. The quality of facilities in our hostel is very good. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is also nice. Medical facilities, sports, and games are moderate.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. However, the pass percentage is 85%.

Other: I chose this course due to my interest in mathematics. The best things about our course are we can indulge in the real world of mathematics and make the qualities like problem-solving and critical thinking. I wish it would be better to bring practical sessions for the course. Events, fests, and the respective campus crowd are comparatively less. Scholarships are given to all eligible students and encourage extra-curricular activities.

Our college provides supportive faculty members and good placements.

Placements: Our college has a placement cell, and an entrepreneurship program is also conducted. It works in all departments. Certain departments conduct programs in association with companies. We also participated in Pathway International. Students have an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge. Direct and indirect recruitments are also available. Students need to send CVs, and the companies will contact them. More than 10 students got placed in this course.

Infrastructure: Our college has a resourceful library. It also provides a high-tech computer laboratory. Classrooms are spacious. Playground is available for sports like volleyball, etc. I am a day scholar. I do not know about hostel facilities. The food served in the canteen is very good. Our campus has good environment. There is a botanical garden on our campus. A sick room is available. A prayer room is also available in this college.

Faculty: English department has insightful, eminent, friendly, and well-qualified professors. They are well-trained. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. We can pass with good grades.

Other: It is a narrow-minded institution. PSMO College is a progressive and nurturing institution when used in a resource-seeking manner with the best faculty members and facilities. Fests are conducted, such as food fests and other cultural programs. Our campus surroundings are very good.

Placements: They admit the students above the 97% marks. The 90% percentage of students are girls only 10% of them are boys. The roles offered are accountant in different firms. 90% of students in college gets scholarship which amounts around INR 10,000-100000.
