Overall this college is great for all course.

Good place to enjoy your college. Aesthetic buildings. Must join a cult in a way.
Placements: For our department, BBE placements are low compared to others, most of the students will be placed in IT companies, and most in Federal Bank. Only a few, like Zifo, etc., come for the biotech department. Training and classes are good. Nearly 20 percent of the students get placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a hostel inside the campus which makes it difficult, but offers various hostels in the surrounding area. They have no infrastructure, except the one main building. There is no ground, auditorium, etc., but it offers all kinds of programs at their best.
Faculty: As it is the one and only government college in Kerala with a biotechnology and biochemical engineering department, if you score good marks you will be one of the university toppers which makes sense. As the exams are conducted under KTU it might be difficult for some but easy to score.
Other: It is one of the best courses for one who completed the Biology group in +2. Our college conducts one of the biggest events in Trivandrum known as the cult a way. It is one of the largest cultural fests that includes a musical concert, in which South India's most popular teams perform, and it is a must-watch.

Good college with great faculty and nice campus surroundings.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 80% to 90%. The highest average package in my course is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest average package offered in my course is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course include some news and media publishing companies that hire students. Some students from my course get internships at Times of India and some educational institutes. The top roles offered at the companies are as employees of the companies and teachers at the institutes.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my department are very good. Wi-Fi is available at a very high speed. Labs and classrooms are very good, and the library has enough books to read. The quality and facilities available in the hostel are good. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is also very good. Sports and games are also played and managed well.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, with some Ph.D. and Master's qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry-ready through interactions with companies during internships. The semester exams in this college are not very difficult. Every student passes in my course, and the pass percentage is 60% to 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in reading the history of India and some other countries. The best thing about my course is that it gives knowledge and helps develop perfection. One thing that could be improved in my course is communication skills, so students can interact better with people in media and publishing companies. The events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, and campus surroundings are very good. Scholarships are given to eligible students. Extracurricular activities are also conducted.

My review of this college.
Placements: The placements in my college are good. Huge companies come to hire the students, and they also provide a good package, but the placement depends upon the course you opted for. There is a placement cell which invites a lot of companies and firms for job opportunities. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, Accenture, etc., visit the campus and offer an average package range between 3 LPA- 6 LPA and the highest package is 25 LPA-33 LPA. It depends upon the student's performance and their skills, based on this, companies offer placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is available and is good enough. The rooms are available for sharing and separate, and the charges are affordable. The mess food is hygienic and good. The hostel is very secure with CCTV cameras and has a Wi-Fi connection. The hostel environment is good and energetic.
Faculty: The faculty is very knowledgeable. Teachers are very cooperative and teach from the very baseline. They have a helping nature and focus on the course and the excellence of the students. They help every student with their doubts and clear their doubts if there are any. Also, they are very friendly with students. The exam structure is semester-wise. First, we have mid-semester exams to mark out internal marks, followed by assignment marking the same. It is followed by practicals, which the department requires to assess our practical knowledge. In the end, a theory end-semester exam is conducted. Course curriculum is good enough with a good pattern because it consists of all the matter that one needs to know for their further studies in that respective field. The course focuses mainly on research and practical applications, and the structure of the exam is also good.
