Dissatisfied with the college life. There was less enjoyment and more academic pressure.
Placements: Placements are provided by the college, and they are mainly provided to CSE and EC departments. The companies that come to recruit are mostly IT companies. Placements for the mechanical and civil departments are very low. Companies related to the mechanical and civil branches do not visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is satisfactory. The front view of the college is very attractive. Classrooms are moderate, and there is a good library. The canteen is neat, and the food offered is fine. The college has all kinds of labs, but maintenance of the mechanical lab machines is poor. The ground is fine but not great. There are hostels for boys and girls, and the food provided in the hostel mess is adjustable.
Faculty: There are faculty members for all the subjects. Most of the faculty members are well-experienced and have good knowledge of the subjects. They are also good at teaching. Some of the faculty members need to improve more in teaching. All of them are hardworking and very sincere to get good results for students.
Other: Lots of events are conducted in the college like departmental functions, workshops, sports, and arts. The departmental function is the biggest event conducted; it may be conducted for 2 to 3 days. Many workshops are also organised. Students can only watch sports even though they want to participate. The college does not provide good support for activities related to arts.

In the year 2016, approximately, 60% of the students got placed.
Placements: Yearly once, the college management calls companies from different sectors like BPO, KPO, IT, startups for on-campus drives. 30% of the students got selected. We recommended the college to conduct placements frequently. So, students can be familiar with interviews.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. The Wi-Fi facility is restricted in our college. Hostels are good in accommodation, but food seems to be not bad. We have a playground, gym, multiple labs and RD labs. There is a newly opened mechatronics lab for research purpose.
Faculty: In my course curriculum, faculty members are quite good at handling students and teaching. Management is also good. They helped me a lot with my studies. In my department, there are 7 faculty members for 54 students. We got industry exposure as well, and it is most useful in our curriculum.

Placements: PPG Institute of Technology offers attractive placements to the students, who achieved great academic background. This PPG IT has a vital role in the development of careers of each student. About 75% of the students got placed in various companies like IBM, HP, etc.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure of PPG IT, there is a world of facilities like Wi-Fi classrooms, library facilities, attractive sports facilities and coaching for players, and safe and tasty food has been provided for the students. About the labs, the students can easily understand like working in an industry. About the hostel, this is not good but okay for those can adjust.
Faculty: The teachers are the best in this institution, and they also help the students to secure good academics with personal development. The student to faculty ratio is 45:1. With this ratio, the teachers can easily listen and understand the problems of each student in the class.

A good college to study. Sports and hostels are very neat.
Placements: A lot of companies are coming. My seniors are placed in Dell, HCL, etc. And you may also get jobs in Bangalore, Chennai. The placement training classes are there so that you can place easily to any company. The students get 100% placements in this college.
Infrastructure: The campus is enabled with Wi-Fi and sports facilities are very good, Good canteens and food is available. The library is available, where you take many books. A lot of parking space is available. The classrooms are neat and clean. The medical room and an ambulance are also there to help you at any time. The campus is filled with green trees. Looks good and you can feel fresh air.
Faculty: The teaching staff are well trained, and they take classes with the projects, they like friends. They will help you with any problems. A lot of equipment is there. Lots of programs will conduct here, and you can learn more about. Any college conducts companions, and you may go and attend. The allowance is given by the college to the students.

Good but average faculty and poor facilities.
Placements: The placements here are too bad and poor. No good companies come for placement purpose. Only placements are given into business processing organisation. All faculty members speak highly about placement cell, but nothing is given. Too bad aptitude classes for the placement related concerns.
Infrastructure: The whole infrastructures seem good. It has a good structure with 2 blocks mainly a-block and b-block. The campus and college infrastructure is well-maintained by the staff. It also has a hostel which is 100m apart from PPG institute. It also has an automatic teller machine of the Indian Bank in the front of the successful infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members are not at all good. There are some good faculty members, but most of them leave the college after one or two years of work. There is no consistency faculty in this college. The course curriculum will surely get completed before the exam, but it won't be properly covered. They are not as much interested in their profession.
Other: It is 15 minutes of drive from Coimbatore international airport. The college has an Indian bank automatic teller machine nearby. It is 45 minutes from Gandhipuram main bus stand. There is no transport facility available on the route. It is a 5-minute drive from the Kaapikada bus stand.

Dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Don't expect placements. The college will try their best but most of the MNC companies are looking only for the top-rated institutions so getting on campus placement is really tough. Some of the companies within the Coimbatore may show interest but getting placed is not an easy thing.
Infrastructure: Pretty decent infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi is available for students but doesn't expect that all the time. The library is good, and the basic medical facilities are available. Decent labs, ground and good classroom facilities will be there. Some people will not be satisfied with their hostel food, but it is usual in most of the colleges.
Faculty: The mixture of some highly talented faculty and some average faculty are available. Mostly blackboard and PPT teaching methods were used. There are little practical sessions. The curriculum may be useful for some people's, but our education system is not up to the mark, so there is no point to blame the college.
Other: The college is in the good location since it is located in the national highway transportation facility is not a problem. Not a strict engineering college when you compared to others. Fewer admissions due to the heavy competition and lack of placement. Some departments were already closed and hope the college will bounce back soon.
