PPG Institute of Technology review.

Placements: The placements were good, but most of the companies that came for the campus drive were just looking for tech support and most students were placed in CTS and HCL. Most of them were placed in a tech support company and they are trying very hard to bring big time companies for recruitment of students.

Infrastructure: Great infrastructure and great equipment in the laboratory and a good environment to learn. Each department has its own block and the library is well furnished with a lot of books for engineering and other books. It's located near several tech parks in Coimbatore so that there is an exposure to the industry and in knowing how the industry works in real-time.

Faculty: Well educated and experienced faculty. The quality of the education is great. The faculty members of each department are well trained in their core and can help you to get a higher standard of education. The syllabus is Anna University based and they have a good syllabus with a keen interest to give students a betterment in engineering.

Placements are average compared to other colleges.

Placements: The lowest package offered for our department is 2 LPA, and the highest range is up to 8 LPA. The placements are average. But not to complain about it. It also depends on our skills to get a good package. You can also grow your skills after campus hours by using the computer lab.

Infrastructure: Campus is portrayed as Wi-Fi-enabled, but LTE connectivity is not reliable, especially for 4G users. Overall, the campus infrastructure is average and can be improved. Labs are average compared to other autonomous campuses but are usable. Library has a variety of books to use.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. The pass percentage is above 80%. Exams are not so hard to clear. As I studied at AU. Now the college is autonomous. Internal marks are so easy with some study. Teaching is good and can be done better. Quizzes are conducted after class by some faculty members.

Other: This college has recently become autonomous. I would not recommend it when it was affiliated with AU, but now it might be worth considering.
