Good infrastructure and facilities, but very poor placements. Faculty are qualified.
Placements: There was no placement in my batch as well as for the senior batches, so the placement-related activities were poor for my department. Other departments had fairly good placements. Many got placed in BPO and KPO companies, and the highest salary offered was 12,000. The students were offered the roles of Business Analyst and call centre. The college did not offer internships nor did they help in getting the internships.
Infrastructure: As far as the infrastructure is concerned, my college had a good infrastructure with most of the facilities available. The labs had many instruments and equipment, but some of them were damaged and did not work well. The classroom was neat and spacious, and the library had all the books related to every department by both local and foreign authors. My college gave importance mostly to cricket, volleyball and kabaddi, and the quality of food served in the canteen was good.
Faculty: The faculty members in my college were some of the best in terms of being friendly. There were some well-experienced faculty members here, and they were also well-qualified and had a good knowledge about the core portion of the subjects. A traditional teaching method was used, and the student-faculty ratio was 10:1. I had 2-3 experiences of visiting an industry and I got to know about the processes there.

The facilities and infrastructure is very good.
Placements: It is an average college around Coimbatore and not many students get placed in reputed companies. Maybe 5% of students get placed and salary is around INR 20,000 to INR 28,000, the course is mechanical, civil engineering, computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechatronics, biomedical and agricultural engineering.
Infrastructure: We have a playground, hostel and gym facilities, hockey ground, kabaddi ground, cricket ground, basketball court. And even shuttle court and well-equipped smart classrooms and library which can occupy 50 students and canteen and a restaurant and quality of food are good.
Faculty: The teachers are good at teaching and helping students, and the teaching qualities are good enough and the course is very relevant to the curriculum and often students are taken to industry visits and we have a fully furnished lab for practicals and good condition machines.
Other: Because mechanical engineering is an evergreen course and without mechanical, no technology is there. I believe that and mechanical is required for every work.

Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.

Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
