Welingkar is worth getting into, and the ROI is great.
Placements: 98% of students got placed, and some opted out. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, the lowest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 9 LPA. Big4 like Deloitte, PWC, E&Y, KPMG, and IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc., and banks like ICICI, RBL, Axis Bank, HDFC come here. 98% of students got internships. Portfolio manager, management trainee, associate consultant, etc., roles are offered.
Infrastructure: We have access to Bloomberg terminal and other research resources online. The faculty are very experienced and knowledgeable. All the facilities like hostel, canteen, medical and sports are available. There's even a gymkhana for students. There is a lack of co-curricular activities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and the quality of the course is all inclusive and practically applicable. The teachers are present for you at every step, from getting an internship to mentoring for final placements. The semester exams held online were of medium difficulty.

It is a great place to learn and develop yourself.
Placements: In PGDM core, 70% of students have already been placed so far. The highest package offered is 16 LPA, and the median package for marketing is 10 LPA. Internships are offered by companies like Nestle, Accenture, Capgemini, Welspun, TCS, Micheal Page, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and HDFC Bank, which are among the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Since the classes are online now, the hostel facilities are not available so far. The same is applicable for classrooms. However, the virtual teaching facilities are superior to other colleges in the city. The college provides access to its digital library and Bloomberg portal which is one of its kind.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are either ex-professionals with industry experience of more than 10 years or have PhD holders. Students are given proper guidance about extracurricular projects and case studies which help the students to understand and tackle real industry problems. The exams conducted online are in MCQ format, which is moderate. The pass percentage is 50%.

There are excellent placements and good teaching staff members.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students were successful in getting campus placements in leading corporates like Reliance, Nestle, HUL, etc. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top role offered was area manager. Almost 99% of the students have secured an internship from our batch.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is really praiseworthy as all the classrooms are well maintained with a proper seating arrangement. Classrooms are completely air-conditioned, and computer labs are available for academic use. There is proper natural lighting. The food served is hygienic and available at affordable prices. Medical aid like first aid boxes are available. There is a sports ground, and coaches are also available for sports activities.
Faculty: The teaching and non-teaching staff members here are very supportive and helpful. They are knowledgeable, well trained and always use modern methods like video learning, PowerPoint presentations and more E-content to make learning more interesting. The course curriculum is as per the standards and made the students industry-ready. The examination pattern is semester-wise, and the passing percentage is 40% of marks.

This is a good choice for students.
Placements: Placements were an attractive part of this institute as they offer the best placements to their students. Not only placements but as well as they help to choose the right organisation as per our skillset, and our professional qualities. I got good placements as it completely fulfills my expectations, and gives me more motivation to grow my career.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities were good. They had a canteen inside the campus, and also the classrooms were well occupied with air-conditioners and projectors. The entire campus had kept very neat, clean, and hygienic. The security had been kept in each section.
Faculty: Faculty members were the main reason to take admission at this institute. They were professionally trained and well versed in their respective field. Each faculty members were a good amount of experience, and they try to be more practical-oriented rather than being theoretical.

I passed out from this college in the year 2013 with a PGDM degree.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA by Amazon, which was the highest amongst all specialisations. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. In our current batch, summer internships were badly affected due to COVID-19 pandemic as it was the peak time of March-April when the media companies usually start hiring. Although there was full support from the placement department, and they somehow managed to get all the students placed. The top role offered was client strategy at JioSaavn.
Infrastructure: Our college is well-equipped with appealing classrooms, boardrooms and IT labs, and it is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. There is also a big library with the latest books and magazines. There is a boy's hostel which is 2 km away from the campus, while girls are offered rented flats managed by college authorities. Canteen food is a little expensive and not that tasty. Our college has an average gym which is recently renovated, and there is a small room to play table tennis and pool table.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they are guest faculty members as they belong to the media background. Teaching quality is good. They are a little strict on attendance as it is 75%, and you also get debarred in subjects if you don't manage to maintain it to that level. Apart from that, the curriculum is well-balanced. In the first year, you probably have common subjects belonging to all the specialisations like HR, marketing operations, etc. In the next year, you have a proper subject covering media-based knowledge.
Other: I wanted to do something in a creative field, so after engineering, I chose to shift to the media industry. The best thing about the course is we sometimes have opportunities to meet the great artist and seek knowledge from them. For improvement, I would suggest having better faculty members who are full-time faculty members.

Yes, even freshers can apply for the full-time PGDM and MMS programs of Welingkar Mumbai campus and get selected every year. There is no restriction on the work experience factor. Good luck.
