| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
To gain admission to PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research for B.Tech you need to be eligible for admission that is 12th pass with a minimum aggregate of 45% with PCM.
Since direct admission is not available candidates have to take entrance exam like JEE MAINS and Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Exam and score qualified marks. Then you have to fill out the admission form and pay admission fees. Remember to carry important documents like the Adhaar card, and the 10th and 12th marksheet.
PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research offers admission to B.Tech. programs mainly through TNEA, mark-wise admission counselling conducted based on class twelfth standard marks. For B.Tech., the institute does not take any separate examination as TNEA has a rating system on physics, chemistry, and mathematics subjects. Unlike JEE Main there is no entrance exam at the national level for B.tech. admissions at PSG via TNEA.

PSG Itech B.Arch is offered to candidates at the UG level. Candidates are required to participate in the entrance-based admission process to be considered for the final admission offer. Candidates are shortlisted for the B.Arch programme based on their performance in the entrance exam. Candidates who qualify in the admission process are eligible to secure their seat in the 5 years programme.
