The infrastructure is good, and it is safe to live in the hostel.
Placements: Above 90% of students get placed in the last batch. The average package is 3–4 LPA, and 7 LPA is the highest package. Accenture and TCS are the top recruiters. Many students get internships in Coforge. Approximately 50 students get PPO from this company this month.
Infrastructure: A LAN cable is used to access the internet. It is very disappointing for me as it is too old technology compared to today’s fast-moving world. It should be replaced with Wi-Fi. Labs are above average compared to other colleges. Library books should be updated according to the time.
Faculty: Compared to other colleges in Kanpur, a few teachers are good enough, but in the end, you are the one who has to work for your betterment. Some study materials are not good enough to make students industry-ready. It is affiliated with Kanpur University. One week of serious study before exams is enough to score decent marks.
Other: The attendance policy should be changed from 90% to 75%.

The placement rate is very good, and the infrastructure is excellent.
Placements: The placement rate of the college is 95%. The highest package for BCA is 11 LPA, while for BBA it is 10.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent, and every classroom is a smart class. Every student has two sockets and a LAN connection. The library is excellent, and the Wi-Fi speed is very good. The mess is good, and the canteen is excellent. There is a hospital on the campus.
Faculty: The pass percentage is at least 5.5 CGPA, and the exams are very hard. Every month, students have tests, and every three months, there is an exam. Teachers are very good and helpful. They are hardworking and supportive of students and provide extra classes whenever needed.
Other: The BCA course is good in this college because a lot of training takes place. The vibe of the college is very good. The attendance criteria are 90% for all students. Many training programs take place in the college, and the college timing is from 9 AM to 5 PM, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

If you want to take admission at PSIT, firstly read this.
Placements: PSIT promises 100% placement. Last year, my seniors got full placement as PSIT fulfilled its promises. The highest package is around 7 LPA CTC for BBA, and average is around 4 LPA. Some got internships, and the rest all got full-time jobs. Top companies are Pyramid, HCL Tech, Wipro, Accenture, High Beam Global, and many more. According to me, around 30% of students got internships, and the rest got full-time jobs. The roles offered by the companies are fashion consultant, retail sales, sales executive, HR trainee, and more jobs related to sales.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. It has AC plant too, Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are also well-cleaned. They have benches for students to sit on ground, cafeterias, and brands like Samocha, Nestle, Amul, Brio, and Urban Vadapav. I think PSIT has the best infrastructure in Kanpur.
Faculty: Every faculty at PSIT is well educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of their lecture is very nice. They firstly plan everything, how much is to be taught in how many lectures, and execute it which enhances the systematic, organised, and structured functions of PSIT College of Higher Education.
Other: I chose this course so that I can prepare for CAT and pursue MBA in future. BBA course will give me an understanding of the basics of MBA. The things that would be better are some practicality in course and providing internships from the second year. They conduct Ignitia, Freshers, footprints, and lots of events for hostellers which invite a huge crowd and lots of fun.

It is good for the students who are disciplined in nature.
Placements: More than 90% of students get placed. A good placement record for the year 2025 BBA. I am from the BBA 2023 to 26 batch. In our college, placement opportunities for BBA students have been quite strong. In the last passing out batch, around 80 to 85% of students got placed. The highest package offered is about 12 LPA, while the lowest stood at 3 LPA. On average, students secured packages in the range of 5 to 6 LPA. A mix of reputed companies and startups participated in the placement process.
Infrastructure: All facilities are very good. But the thing you have to face is a long walk. Our college offers strong facilities for BBA students. It includes spacious air-conditioned classrooms, computer labs with Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked library with books and journals. Hostel facilities are clean and comfortable. A hygienic food served in the mess and additional options in the canteen. Medical support with doctors is available on campus. Sports facilities are well-maintained, with grounds and courts for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games, ensuring a balanced student life.
Faculty: All teachers are well-educated and help us to keep shining. The teachers in our department are very supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They make classes interactive through case studies, discussions, and presentations, which improve understanding beyond theory. The BBA curriculum is updated and relevant, covering management, finance, and marketing, which helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, focusing more on concepts and application rather than rote learning. With regular study and participation, they are manageable. The pass percentage is generally high, around 85 to 90%.
Other: The biggest fest of college is Ignitia. Every year, singers come and make our day special.

Placements: PSIT Kanpur has decent placement records with many core IT and core companies visiting. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro and Tech Mahindra. Average packages are moderate, around 4 to 5 LPA with some higher offers. It's good for consistent placement opportunities in the private sector.
Infrastructure: PSIT Kanpur offers modern infrastructure with well-equipped labs, digital classrooms, and a big library. The campus is clean and green. Hostels are decent with Wi-Fi, good security, hygienic food, and basic facilities. Overall, both academics and hostel life are comfortable and student-friendly.
Faculty: PSIT Kanpur has supportive faculty with good subject knowledge. The curriculum is updated as per AKTU guidelines with a focus on theory and practicals. Exams are conducted regularly and are moderately tough, requiring consistent study. Overall, academics are structured and well-managed.
Other: PIST Kanpur provides good exposure through workshops, seminars, hackathons and industrial visits. Extra focus on soft skills and personality development helps in placements. The campus life is active with cultural and technical fests making learning balanced with fun activities.

Supportive faculty, relevant curriculum, and active campus life.
Placements: 70 to 80% of BCA students get placed with an average package of 3 LPA and the highest up to 10 LPA+. Top recruiters include Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, and HCL, offering roles like Software Developer, Web Developer, Analyst, and IT Support.
Infrastructure: Our department has good infrastructure with Wi-Fi enabled classrooms, well equipped computer labs, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and basic amenities. Mess food is satisfactory, and the canteen offers variety. Medical facilities are available on campus, and students also enjoy sports grounds, a gym, and indoor games, making overall campus life comfortable and balanced.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and supportive, with many holding MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. degrees. Teaching quality is good, the curriculum is industry relevant with useful training programs, and semester exams are moderately difficult with a good pass rate.
Other: I chose BCA because it builds a strong foundation in computer applications and opens good career opportunities in IT. The best things about the course are practical labs, supportive faculty, and industry relevant training, however, more focus on advanced technologies and real-world projects would make it better. The campus has a friendly crowd with regular events, fests, and extracurricular activities. Connectivity and surroundings are good, and scholarships are available for deserving students, which adds to the overall positive experience.
