Review of Purvanchal Institute of Dental Sciences, Gorakhpur
Placements: There are 50 students in my batch, and every year the number of admissions increases. In the 2024 batch, the admissions were full with a strength of 100 students. In this college, students receive excellent training in dental professions, enabling them to open their own clinics or secure positions in government or private hospitals.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are decent, with well-maintained departments that have just the right number of instruments and lab equipment. The lecture halls are air-conditioned. The hostel is mediocre but clean, offering decent facilities compared to the fees. Three meals are provided, and snacks are also served. There is a huge playground and a badminton court.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and trained, and they have a wonderful teaching ability. Learning from them is enjoyable. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students flourish in dental sciences. The semester exams are neither too easy nor too difficult; regular study can help a student pass easily. The pass percentage of my batch was almost 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I was not offered an MBBS seat, so I opted for BDS. However, I do not regret this decision, as this course is also good. Intercollege events can enhance the quality of students. Every year, our college organizes a fest that includes both sports and cultural events.

It is worthy of taking admission here because of its fee and location.
Placements: Placements depend on students' abilities and their handwork. If they are good in academics and clinical, then they will do good in their career. If their hand practice is good and they do handwork and internship, then they will do the best in their future.
Infrastructure: It has the best infrastructure and facilities. It provides a good hostel with the best warden who concerns about our safety and health. The library is very good with maximum books which we need. It has a huge playground for our daily exercise and sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They are well-experienced with the best degrees. They do their best to get to the topic, and they teach every topic practically. In my opinion, faculty members are awesome. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to become a dentist. Our college should improve faculty members and infrastructure. It conducts dental checkup camps, etc.

It is absolutely a good college for BDS course and has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 60-70% of students got placed in our Purvanchal Institute of Dental Sciences College. As our college is offering only Bachelor's degree and BDS course (Bachelor of dental surgery), one should have to clear the government examination. Internships are done in the last year, i.e., 5th year.
Infrastructure: Our Purvanchal Institute of Dental Sciences has all the qualities that a college should have. It has 9 departments with respect to laboratories work. Wi-Fi is available on our campus. The library has many books. The quality of the mess food is good and healthy, and the menu changes every week.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and always help the students cope with their problems. Internal exams are conducted, and the number of subjects increases every year, with practical works.

Our college is really fine. Students will learn good clinical works and become successful doctors.
Placements: I am from a bachelor of dental surgery. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top course offered in this college is a bachelor of dental surgery. Mainly students get placed in KGMC, Paras and Fortis. Our college only provides a one-year internship programme.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good here. Students can find a homely environment. It is a ragging-free campus. You will get a laundry facility and purified water. The canteen is as good as the restaurant. The food served is also very good, and you can change the menu whenever you want. Sports and games facilities are available in the hostel.
Faculty: Everything is just perfect here. Teachers are well qualified and well-behaved. Their teaching quality is also awesome. Practical faculty members are also available who teach us only practicals. This course makes students ready for every clinical condition. Semester exams are quite good. Students who secure more than 55% of marks are passed.
Other: I chose this course because I like the dental profession. The best thing is that you are going to become a doctor. You are going to learn all clinical conditions. Every extracurricular activity is conducted here.

This college is great for doing BDS. Teachers are really cooperative.
Placements: We all know that in BDS, there are no specific placements. We need to either study further or open our own clinic. However, the college provides a one-year rotational internship. A stipend is provided by the college every month, and patient exposure is also very good.
Infrastructure: The college has a lush green campus. Patient inflow is also good here. The canteen is available, and classes are fully air-conditioned. Hostels are present within the campus, and a playground is available. Hostel facilities and the mess are good. No infrastructure issues are faced.
Faculty: Exams happen on time. Teachers make us understand everything really well. All teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable here. Teachers and seniors are very helpful. Our course curriculum helps us conduct research on various topics. Faculty members provide quality education.
